As I said before, Nyaan literally lost everything, her home and her future and while Machu is arrested at the end of the episode she has an actual chance to get a better life after everything. The only thing that Nyaan had were her "friends" and the promise of leaving to Earth. And to be honest, Machu didn't give Nyaan any indications that she sees her as a true friend. Maybe when she defended her from the cops but later in that episode she didn't hesitate a bit to rage scream at Nyaan because of muh Shuuji. I hope all of this is a set up for more character development for Machu.
