Battle Academy Harems died because basically none of the new ones after a certain point were successful. You had a couple of successes early on in the 10s like Infinite Stratos, high school dxd and Date a Live, but all the ones that started later on were just flops after flops.
This anime was just more of the same shit.

The first half of season 3 wasn't anime original. The way how they appeased Issei was anime original. They used the oppai song like in the first episode of season 4 to appease him in the source material.
The second half of season 3 is anime original.
