It was fun for a large portion of its run, but somewhere around the cell arc it got really stale and unfunny because they started taking it to seriously. I remember at the time they took it SUPER seriously during editing that they were "fixing" Dragonball more or less because the fag who is the head editor was such a massive autist about the source material. The jokes just sorta petered out as well. It went from them calling people fags and it being funny to just subtly being them trying to talk about gay people in a normalizing way because that was the style at the time(politically relevant). You see in the buu bits thing they put out that had it kept going they would have forced more cancerous modern culture war shit into the show and it would have been awful. Honestly glad it ended

Even if TFS did it for the wrong reasons, I'm glad that they did it because this set the bar and inspired other abridged series to consider that level of editting and changes as well, which has been to the benefit of both SAO Abridged and UBW Abridged. I'm more happy that other places got to use this tool correctly than TFS used it wrong.
