Her design and character don't feel like a throwaway one-off villain, her lines and parallelism with Machu imply something deeper going on, and then she dies with less characterization than most of the other one-off villains. She has an unsatisfying arc, because war doesn't give a shit about plots or hooks.
If this shit continues, they should just animate or make a SRW story but only in Gundam/UC series only.

First time watching a Gundam? They do shit like this all the time. Set up a character to look like they'll be a big deal, put a lot of plot hooks around them, then kill them off, leaving the hooks dangling.
