from my experience of getting a grand total of two (2) friends into the spiral of madness, they were both experienced with your usual CGDCT shows and they enjoyed OGkatsu when we watched it. one of them was a big friend idol otaku so he immediately was hooked on the idle aspect. i think someone needs to already be pretty deep down the rabbit hole to click with these shows, though
