I spent the last few weeks watching this show for the first time. Holy shit season 2 was godawful. What a horrible selection of characters to focus a whole season on. Echidna and Ryuzu Meyer carried. Ram and Roswaal went to the shitter. Garboya was in the shitter for 10 episodes but then he was alright. season 1 7/10 season 2 3/10 season 3 7.5/10. The show is so much better when Crusch's and the kansai lady's kingdoms are shown.
If I had to name the worst thing I've been encountering with Re:Zero that has occurred over and over again is that most villains only really have about 5 different things to say (same with a lot of cast members) but we have to listen to it for like 30 minutes. Petelgeuse was on screen for 15 minutes straight across E23+24.
That said, I do love me some Felt, Petra, Crusch, Wilhelm, Echidna and so on. I'm neutral on Rem but I'm actually starting to miss her after so long. It's totally possible Rem fans will have to wait something like 10 years before she has a substantial amount of dialogue again
