Yes, it's worth giving it a try. Obviously the newgood oldbad shitposts should be disregarded, but the remake's not as bad as the "worst of" clips make it seem. Despite the mostly inferior animation quality compared to the early episodes of the old anime there are still scenes where it outshines it.

They aren't acting like this is a 46 episode "Greatest Hits" series like Urusei Yatsura was.

At first he was trying to be a bro and keeping his secret. They he got pissed Akane was sleeping with him, and was all 'well fine, I'm not gonna tell her then.'
Now, I think he just enjoys watching Ryoga squirm and do all sorts of inconvenient things to keep his secret, hence why he's constantly trolling him by dropping hints about it when others are around. Heck, he'd have it a lot easier if people around him knew, probably wouldn't get stuck as a pig nearly as often. So Ranma lets him just stew in his own pride.

Pretty good episode. The rival skaters' VAs felt a bit shaky at parts, and I'm not a huge fan of how they're using different gimmicks like the kill counter in the hockey brawl, but I still had plenty of laughs. I especially liked when Ranma reconstituted himself after being kissed. The almost-kiss between Ranma and Akane was very cute, too.

Just means that Kuno is useless trust-fund baby who did nothing to earn that himself and is carried by his Murricaboo daddy. Being a principal's son probably also helped to avoid getting expelled for his sexual harassment stunts
