I have a better idea: In a fantasy setting, for no discernable reason, all the girls in the nearest kilometer start loving a guy to nearly a destructive degree. Wherever he goes they become obsessed with him despite not ever meeting him. They try and kidnap him and catfight over him. Focus is entirely on the girls before and after he leaves the vicinity so you can enjoy how badly their character breaks down. The guy's one quest is to get rid of the curse, and the only girl immune to it is the one that actually loves him.
