Little Flower is a weird ability and I wonder how Genthru arrived at it. It's outside of Genthru's main category so it's at 80% efficiency from the get go, not great for a main combat ability but still acceptable. Then he has to spend a not insignificant amount of aura to shield his hands from the explosions and a little bit everywhere else on his body just in case, further dropping off the power he can sink into the explosions. Double handed little flower gets even worse since he needs to repeat the process on his other hand while he's halving the cost of the explosion and shield on his original hand so he can do a second attack.

Again, this is not his main category. The stacked debuffs make the actual explosive coming out of Little Flower is generously 30%-35% of what Genthru can really do, with two hands being 15%-18%. The fact that it's still effective at all tells you all you need to know about how lethal Countdown is when he's not gimping himself with all the shit Little Flower is putting on him.

Anon, sensing aura is not the same as sensing aura from a specific person. That skill set is much more advance than just being able to sense aura. Beside, all those shows except OP has a way to mask your aura signature by using something similar to zetsu.

I think it's very realistic writing on Togashi's part to have people make retarded abilities if people could make their own abilities. We can't expect everyone to have the intelligence to make something as versatile as Bungee Gum. Mentor characters like Wing, Morel, and now Morena have stated that people do make abilities that are either just bad or don't use their full potential.

So when it comes to Genthru's Little Flower, yeah I can see him making an ability that uses transmutation (for the actual explosion) and enhancement (for the gyo to protect against it) with the nen being split between the actual explosion and defending against it, despite being a conjurer, meaning the ability would be much comparatively weaker to other options available to him (normal enhanced punch, conjuring a small explosive instead, or conjuring a protective glove instead of using gyo).
I bet if Bisky fought Genthru instead she would just call him a fucking retard for making an ability like Little Flower instead of just doing one of the aforementioned alternatives before bashing his head in the ground.

Pretty sure the idea was that the stat boost was Beyond's curse. It turns them into suicide bombs, but as a side effect it also gave them nen from birth and jacked up their physical stats.
Beyond needed them to go be military, so he could position them as guards for the princes. So he gives them all a physical buff to ensure they have a heads up.

However if natural healing or modern medicine had no hope of treating her it would probably be incredibly hard to find a nen user that could.

Leorio is actually pretty well positioned as an Emitter, if you think about it. He does his sonic pulse thing for invasive-but-non-invasive procedures. Might even be able to use it for scanning the body. Then swing over to Manipulation for better surgery, invasive procedures, stitching, etc. Enhancement for healing up the body.

I think emitters might lose to specialists in some cases, but not in the number of people they could treat. In that I think, at a similar level of talent, a specialist would be better at creating an ability that heals more extreme conditions, but an emitter would have the advantage in speed and reliability and so could treat far more people in the same span of time.

My level of resistance to poison isn't exactly at the level of virtual immunity like the Zoldycks but I have enough tolerance to survive poisons that'd be lethal to almost anyone else.

The transmutation doesn't happen directly through my body but rather I can conjure 5 nen beast fairies, each acting as vessels for the poison. The fairies can both spray or dispense the poisons as a mist or jet of liquid or directly touch people to administer them.

Through fairy one I create a fast acting paralytic poison that acts on the nervous system and causes total loss of motor control. The Paralysis Fairy.

Through fairy two I create a poison that acts as a hallucinogen and causes those afflicted with it to see horrifying hallucinations and enter a state of paranoia. The Panic Fairy.

Through fairy three I create a poison that acts close to a disease, causing lesions and boils that gradually lead to the full decay of the body and is highly contagious. The Plague Fairy.

Through fairy four I create a poison that acts as a numbing agent, both removing certain sensations and pain which can allow it to be used for pseudo supportive purposes while too much of it will lead to a painless death. The Passivity Fairy.

Through fairy five I create an expected highly lethal poison that causes extreme bodily malfunction like ruptures of blood vessels, heart failure, brain bleeding etc. I do have to be careful with this fairy as the poison is so strong that even I with my poison tolerance wouldn't be safe though I still use it as my primary offensive fairy. I see. It makes sense. I just always considered that nobody can stop aura from leaking away from their nobody, however good they are. Like plugging a leak in your pool with your hands. Even if you push and stick as much as you can, there will still be bits that will flow throught. Someone like Netero is a master, but water would still flow out even if it is so slightly.

That's why I went with the idea that if preventing the leak is impossible, the next best thing is to always fill the pool with water as fast as it empties out. Though in a way, it just as well turns you into another kind of parasite. Instead of a body switching kind, you become some kind of nen vampire.

That's also a reason why I suggest the possibility that perhaps the aura leakage increases exponentially with age. Even if a nen master was to receive additional nen/youth treatment, they would eventually reach their limit and age as usual.
