Where can I get Harta magazine raws without dl-raw watermarks?

I mean I checked the first couple of pages and there wasn't anything super objectionable or weird from what I could tell except for some small things I'd phrase differently, but I also think no one is going to proofread five chapters which is sort of the issue with this world. Proofreading and comparing it with the original actually takes longer than just translating it because one has to switch back and forth so things aren't really being proofread.

How would you translate this. Seems like major sacrifice is inevitable.

I'm not asking that someone proofread all 5 chapters in one go. TL anon is planning to do his TL every time a new chapter release too so it's going to be more than 5 chapters in the future. I was told proofreaders usually don't know japanese and are just there to make it sound more natural and correct grammar mistakes, so I didn't think it was that much work.

I'm trying to get my hands on high quality scans for pages 5 to 20 for "Himitsu no Anazono" so I can do a good quality uncensored release of it, what's my best and cheapest overall option for doing so? The existing scans have tears which isn't a huge problem as I can repair those with a little effort, but they're 17 years old and not exactly high quality as a result.
The digital raws are complete and utter ass.

Easiest is probably buying at kobo/amazon and using calibre and dedrm.
It's getting hard to find volumes without water marks these days, and they're cheap so you might as well just buy them.
I still download magazines but they usually don't have water marks.

in japanese you're able to leave out the subject or object out in the sentence and it'll still make sense
here she says

suki dakara (I like her)

referring to saki, but quickly adds the object of the sentence (cream puffs) so it becomes

saki likes cream puffs

so she's accidentally let it slip that she likes saki, and she's trying to save it

try this:

i...

like saki...

i mean: i, like saki, like cream puffs!

It's preferable but not necessary for proofreaders to know Japanese. It's to catch mistakes in translation. Otherwise catch typos, weird wording, akward sentences and stuff like that. Native English speaker, if you're ESL you're going to make mistakes that sounds weird to English people more or less no matter how good at English you are.

Innit is an ESL, don't rely on him for proofreading or he'll tell you something like "it's 14:00 hours" is natural English

Why are tlcs so rare? Aren’t there a lot of JP proficient raw readers that can’t write or isn’t interested in writing TLs. With the amount of misTLs I see in scans I thought this position would be quite sought after.

Most translators in scanlation are novices out to learn Japanese. You don't really see a lot of experienced translators. Since newer generations are more anti piracy and don't know how to use pcs, I guess they might be less inclined to work in scanlation. Also they compete with MTL which might be demotivating I guess.
Also a lot of them want money, and since most groups are non-profit since it's retarded trying to make money on piracy, you can't really recruit them.

They aren't interested in reading translated manga for free.

You see, normal people understand context clues. When she is physically putting her hands onto him and says "with these hands" they realize "holy shit, its HER hands" or well rather, they knew that without realizing it because they probably aren't quite as retarded as you, but maybe for someone like yourself, surely you can look at and process the image, or if it were a light novel you could find context clues about the actions she took.
So when an author writes "with these hands" and you feel the need to change it to "with my own hands" it is a completely unnecessary change born out of your own will to not be able to come to terms with what the author themselves wrote because you think what the author wrote doesn't sound right to you, however that line you think sounds wrong it is still what the author wrote, and you have still altered it to be something completely wrong.
Now anyways my suggestion to you is to go write your own fucking story instead of annihilating other people's stories for fun.

Not any more. Nowadays they just use automated translations and make them worse whenever they feel like it.

But I rarely see recruitments for them, why would groups not even try to recruit some? Could it be that having your mistakes pointed out being unpleasant?

Because it will only lead to arguments. The people who become proficient don't want to be involved with localized slop most of the time, a lot of people learned only because of how bad localization got after all. Why would they come back to work with novice SEAkeks doing this for money that think their epic memes and rewrites are part of the translation process?

Because people qualified enough to be TLC will most likely TL instead, because why would you spend the same amount of time fixing someone's stuff instead of translating untranslated things. There is still more untranslated content than translators in the community can handle, so in a sense it's a waste to collaborate unless people happen to be hyper fans of the same thing.
I've been a TLC a few times, but that was usually on projects with existing translations so bad that I basically had to re-translate them anyway, not sure if that can even be called TLC at that point. And that wasn't even a TL-TLC collaboration, that was usually working on blu-ray releases based on existing subs.

Is it just to read the magazine, or are you looking for raws of a specific series? Because if it's the former, watermarks aren't the worst. If it's the latter, I know it can be costly to buy like ten different issues for raws - personally I'd just wait for the volume to come out, don't you think? Anyway, I do have the September and November issues from this year, if you need a specific series I can upload the chapter(s) to catbox.

NTA, but also depending on magazine it can be so that magazine raws have better quality than tankobon raws, e.g. Manga Time Kirara has this issue. Though there are also counter-examples like Yuri Hime.

That translation is ass because it turns contrived slop into something not nearly as dumb. No one thought the bitch whispered "I love [name]" and she 100% didn't say that because that's not how nipponse works. The exchange is very common cliche where the characters conveniently forget how nip works so they can do the whole "oh I'm so flustered" shtick.
