All boring original anime is like this. I've seen it a million times.
Look, they used the word "vaccine(wakutchin)." The people making this anime are idiots who don't think about anything. Once they use the word vaccine, the things that were put into Haplo will be limited to bacteria or viruses. That's why the English subtitles for that scene say "cure", not "vaccine". It's proof that they didn't make a proper setting.
And the thing they do is an old-fashioned game of parkour tag. Boring.
As expected before the broadcast, this anime is "Watanabe Shinichiro's VLAD-LOVE" The creator Watanabe Shinichiro, who worked on Macross Plus and Bebop, is no longer with us. This anime is the tombstone that proves that.
