I'll admit it, I miss you JJfucKs. What we had wasn't that SPECIALZ, in fact; retrospectively there isn't much Gege wrote that was original, novel, or compelling.
But holy shit the shitposting weekly was fun. I miss it. Gege actually COULD accomplish these moments between characters, or during a fight where he established 10 rules but then one character twists the rule in just such a way - it was entertaining sloppa at it's worst and I find myself stupidly foolishly missing JJK. The characters betrayed their own motivations and sparse narative arcs, Gege clearly didn't know where to go or what to do with future arcs, and I don't quite even know what message JJK delivered in the end. 7 months have passed, I feel a bit betrayed by the author and wonder if season 3 will even happen. Culling Games is a low point writing wise, but if we could get season 2's animation on the Sukuna Showdown that'd be quite the blessing I still think it's a fun fight for any shounen fan

Gege is married, but has to be bisexual at the very least. His taste in men is one of the best, but his taste in women is meh.

it kinda seemed like his healthy was pretty consistently declining during the whole run. felt the art never fully recovered from whatever made him have to put out unfinished chapters during the zenin stuff.

I read that whole fight in one sitting and holy shit it was so ass. I pity the people who read it weekly.

The anime is trash but the manga was the best seller for 5 or 6 years straight. You'd be genuinely retarded not to know that it will get a season three. The tragedy there is that Mappa sucks and doesn't understand JJK. They've done a terrible job so far.

it makes me sad that people say this, the Sukuna VS Mahoraga had a ton of substance particularly the blu-ray cut. Gege actually gets way too much flak for that era of his writing, he was still building techniques up and explaining them in a way that when he twisted or broke a rule it wasn't asspully. The later arcs, basically wank off Sukuna a Deus Ex Machina until Gege got bored. RCT restored! Oh he RCT'd his DE to Amplify blah blah blah shut up Gege we know you gave up.
I mention Suku VS Maho because the anime 1000% expanded on the "dismantle" slicing, and really demonstrated Mahoraga's adaptation slowly. JJK was good. Fujos will forever be butt hurt about GODkuna taking away their boy toy.

Unironically, Gege actually knew how to generate hype for his fights on a weekly serial format which is honestly amazing in of itself. In the end, the series itself is pretty straightforward, but half of the entertainment were all the discussions going on on a weekly basis, almost as if the fights themselves felt like a sports event.
