even though Interpol literally just suffered massive leak of top secret case details to the public and they would be very keen to punish anyone guilty of not following opsec procedures (like not blabbing about your investigation to an unrelated person)

Echika faces no disciplinary action whatsoever

in fact nobody even mentions this incident at all, as if she did nothing wrong

And this is just the latest wave of stupidity to crest on the shores of the beach of idiocy that is this show's writing.

the thing about harold and bait is kind of well written because he's not allowed to pre-emptively harm humans to prevent attacks and stuff. I like the dynamic but you can guess where it's heading at ep0 and we've been spoiled that it's heading there by ep4? and so now it's just waiting.

Harold's way of manipulating the laws to his advantage is quite novel for robot/AI stories. He's not outright evil or antagonistic but the lack of human touch in his thought process despite his amicable outward actions really throws me off. Once you get to know him you can really tell he's like an alien wearing human skin, which is probably the same thing Echika feels.
