Diego appears in the first stage with a very minor role, almost a glorified reference. Then he is the focus of Scary Monsters and he returns in Catch the Rainbow, is a secondary villain during A Silent Way had a minor apparition in Tubular Bells and then gets ascended to a main character in D4C.

I think everyone has places they admire. As for me, I admire ancient desert ruins and the deep blue sea, and so I make them into settings for my manga. I draw these settings with a strong feeling of "I really want to go there." But, then what? After drawing those places, when it comes time to actually go on a research trip, I don't always want to go. I just end up thinking, "Why should I go anywhere I don't have to go?" I'm sure the reason I hate traveling is because I feel like I have to for my job. I've realized that lately.

Chapter notes:

31: I did contract kidney stones, though I've since dissolved them with medicine.

32: It just occurred to me that I hate straws and have never used one even once. Drinking through a straw would taste awful, wouldn't it?

33: I like watching sports games where the winner has an overwhelming lead. If the point margin's too small, I worry about what'll happen if it ends in a tie.

34: I don't feel like traveling these days. Nothing beats a quick walk around the neighborhood.

For magazine/volume differences, I suggest looking at the wiki itself, cause theres too many. Mostly just aesthetic changes.
