The first one is good because it's literally just the first six episodes with a nice new coat of paint that does genuinely look good most of the time, but it's not necessary
The second continues this with more episodes but the end of it shifts into a different set of events, so the third is completely new. This is where it begins to fall apart because the new isnt very good. The fourth concludes it in a kinda gay way. After my watch if it, i just couldn't really understand who it was made for. It really felt like the rebuilds were shitting on the originals deliberately without providing anything of substance to latch onto in themselves. It also was so convoluted and messy plot and lorewise that the only people who could "understand it" were fans of the original, but fans of the original would hate it for being so dismissive of the original.
You would probably benefit from watching them a single time so you can shitpost about how gay they are, but the original is better in every way and it's not even close
