Imagine summoning stinku

I would just drop out of the tournament immediately

mfw my servant betrays me because I said I don't like junk (food) once

stinku

she's probably the cleanliest out of them all
but yep she's a pain.

she's never harmed her master, on the other hand hina ichigo didn't hesitate to torture her's for missing playtime.
if there is one doll you wouldn't want to anger it's her

what's the state of the manga?

I would be happy if the manga was finished properly.

Is this the case of I wonder?

Even if Rozen Maiden is better than F/SN, the premise is weaker on paper, and the strength of a premise is a bigger driver for popularity than actual quality.

Nah

Well I mean the original manga Rozen Maiden then sort of segues into the semi-AU sequel ローゼンメイデン so we never get a straight answer as to what would happen in the original timeline by itself. The anime does something completely different (and not neccessarily worse DESU). I haven't read Rozen Maiden 0; I hope it will get picked up after the re-release. (I actually did up from being a hikiNEET and get a job to buy the manga lol)
Why? fairly similar premise between the HGW and the Alice Game IMO. Also RM technically debuted two years earlier

What...

You have the original manga 'Rozen Maiden' (2002-2007). The 2008 manga which uses the katakana ローゼンメイデン for the title is the AU where Jun does not wind Shinku up and we meet him as an adult. Later on this part of the story rejoins the story of the original as an alternate timeline. But in a meta sense the original 2002 manga never ran to completing its own story as of itself. It doesn't bother me but it does tickle my 'tism
Fortunately the new rerelease will cover both parts.

It's not an AU, it's a direct sequel, the fuck are you talking about? Have you even read the manga? Or only watched Zurückspulen?

I said it rejoins the story of the original. The whole thing with the older Jun who did not wind only lasted a few volumes but it is effectively a what if? alternate version. I think the old Jun plot only lasted something like 4/10 volumes before it went back to young Jun (which is the AU bit I was talking about) BUT you can't deny that it does affect the progression of the story. Personally IMO it is a big enough detour given that the manga is not that long

The AU is connected to the main timeline. What are you talking about?

When you see it.

Why? fairly similar premise between the HGW and the Alice Game IMO.

Because one of them is about porcelain dolls and the other one is about historical and mythological figures.
One is not only going to grip audiences harder, but also has more potential as a massive franchise.

Yeah, who could've resisted junk clones

"victorian/gothic fantasy battle royal with porcelaine dolls" is such a cool premise though. also there's a bit of jungian psychology going on with the whole n-field thing, if only they tapped more into that, could've helped build a stronger identity and stand out more.

I can be happy only in the world where Suigintou is the main character and she rightfully becomes Alice

less RM

good

I don't like your tone

I read the entire thing not that long ago but it's never a "separate story", the lead in to the Jun who never wound helps tread the story's themes a lot. Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden II (that's what they're called) are never not part of the same story. I think this is just made kind of unclear because there was a break inbetween.

That wouldn't be the RM we know and love at all. I want more RM, not a fate-like shit conveyor.

No Rozen Maiden where they actually go through with the Alice games instead of fucking off

Bastardising rm

good

But Alice game isn't just about fighting (((rabbit))) tricked them

No, there absolutely isn't. Rozen Maiden had a cast of seven dolls. Fate had a concept of seven legendary warriors.
Do you know how many legends are told across the world? There is no world where these premises are equal.

You said

we never get a straight answer as to what would happen in the original timeline by itself.

What did you even mean by this? By itself, like if the dolls didn't try to escape Kirakishou's trap or something? The demise of the entire main cast and a sad, premature ending, I guess.
Even for Kira. And

rejoins the story of the original as an alternate timeline

They are parallel worlds, but not alternate timelines or AUs at all, it's a continuous story and a logical continuation and conclusion of the disaster that happened at the end of the first manga.

What's the consensus on the current anniversary re-release volumes?

The (((rabbit))) tricked them in the anime.

But they did go through with the Alice Game, what do you mean?

>Bastardising rm

It was already bastardized with the DEEN's 2ndadaption

You can't be serious.

is this bait.jpg - 1500x1410, 907.57K

RM isn't chu2 enough to take over FSN's place.

I doubt dollfucking is a popular enough fetish for that to happen.

handholding with Suigintou...
