world's gayest ogre

world's gayest ogre

he's just romantically autistic. his dad fucked him up pretty bad

Ran is gayer but he's not in this current series

The fujo pandering episode made me drop this.

Is this series any good? Never heard of it until now. Somehow it completely fell under the radar for me.

(addon) without watching it, that is

It peaked with the quad loli nicos. Nothing possibly could beat that.

mostly shoujo romcom with some sitcom, as well as 5% action plot material

this likely isn't going to be your bag unless you want shoujo with slightly higher stakes than average, then it's pretty alright.

at least as long as what this series will cover

official OP video, probably something that's not a leaked first draft this time (it's a fucking premiere for some reason)

youtube.com/watch?v=evtoG-4dLM4

gayest

How gay are we talking about here?

goes absolutely nowhere

come to think of it, things actually regress dramatically, which is worse than nowhere

the entire fucking crew goes pic related the latest chapter, it's really sad

i'm expecting the punchline to the memory recovery arc to be "nico killed her dad in the accident that had her move away from moi"

and my theorycraft part 2 is that moi probably also knew that from the beginning

slop me

There are scenes that haven't been shown in the anime yet, neat

male characters act like typical japanese male

but is okay because [writer's invented convoluted reason]

right....
What is your definition of what constitutes romance?

New episode

New girl

What killed the hype?

It should be illegal to translate oni as ogre

This anime kept on introducing new girls but how many of them are gonna stay in the show? I know Cat girl is gonna stay because she's in the fucking banner image

i figure they do this shit for economic reasons (ie yield more chapters/issues) because while we can have shorter and more fulfilling arcs that sort of thing is left to (non-light) novels which is kind of a shame really.

What is your definition of what constitutes romance?

i grade on a curve because manga romance is comically shit (not that western romance is any better) but as far as most things in manga will go it's interpersonal relationships developing towards a positive intimate end, which is a plurality of the chapters. i mean it's always possible they just fuck off and tell readers to go fuck themselves like MHA, but this series in particular doesn't seem like it would end that way, even if it's in the wrong magazine.

The most recurring ones are

Kara

Fujo Artist

Fujo Teacher

Cat girl (Nemu)

kara gets two stories to herself, fujo student/teacher is a periodic running gag. next major female character after that is beyond this series' end, unfortunately.

people expecting a typical jump series not getting one

Kukumi

Nemu

Kara

Yuri

Just these four because the next one won't appear for a long while.
The boys will be more prominent so if this pseudo shoujo series isn't already giving you signs, you might start to reconsider

I see too many stories who seem to wrestle with tropes, as if they feel bound by them, and to me it makes it look like the story loses its sense of identity, I rather see the writer be honest, that way he/she is more like to grow and come up with its distinctive flair rather than harping on someone else's writing.

Yes I would agree with that, I recently read "messenger of the sea", I am inclined to make a thread about it, I held off for a while because I usually don't like harems, especially having been burnt by the much hyped QuintesQuint, but I greatly enjoyed that one because we actually see major progresses throught out the whole story and there is often a relaxed atmosphere, is not perfect, there are various things I would change and can't imagine what it must have been like to wait 7 years for it, but is miles ahead of most harems and many so called "romcoms" too.

What a specific thing to say........

I can tell Bibury will have tons of fun with the minecraft episode soon

It's a shoujo in all but name but it's a shounen in the sense of Morihito having the self insert design

romcom

0 romance

not funny

He's a subculture freak.
People get made fun for wearing google glass

Are you recording

Not with that face you're making......

Next episode is Kan-chan getting pussywhipped

Hmm

Nyes

Look how special am I with my non normie taste

I know it sounds silly but I hope they won't replace the OP. It's way too good to be replaced by something else

ED can be replaced whatever though

the author doesn't really do pretty boys, but the girls design is pretty simple as well. the writing is basically what people are getting shoujo from.

You and everyone else apparently, the threads quickly hit 500 up until the second guy showed up and that just immediately killed them.

If you didn't notice, you guys only pretend to like this because it baited you with panty shots of Nico

MC is female

Main love interest is male

Main cast has way more boys than girls

OP and ED have already made that clear of the above

Gets triggered because there's more than one male that isn't the MC

Can't be me

Yamato Nadeshiko Skills : 0

Keigo is such a hipster doofus

This is the type of guy who would record 30 minutes of him trashtalking as to why modern trends are garbage and why "insert popular thing" has fallen off the face of the earth

Complete with lo-fi music

I don't see any new scenes with cat girl on the music video. Is she actually part of the main cast?

she is a main character of the first serious arc which is probably at the last 4 episodes of this cour

Making videos as an episode plot can be fun. But as a master Wong-styled episode it's a bit simplistic.

I was laughing uncontrollably at this scene. I love this show lol.

the tea ceremony was actually funny, if I was younger I would've lost my sides at the scene

if you're looking for actual gay you're gonna wait until second cour where moi's life force gives a shota an orgasm

2nd half was actually hilarious in action. Don't recall it nearly as good in the manga.

She does but you'll have to wait for her episodes next month.

They're allowed to show this much blood on an afternoon Sunday timeslot?

They're just grasshoppers.

Full song sounds worse worse than the OP version

Another L for YOASOBI

I want more of her

the additional instruments are really not necessary

A hate comment from their classmate (Mr Death Storm)

it's part of why the anime didn't raise sales of the manga very much -- the vast majority of the written gags require animation (which manga doesn't have) and locational context (which is at a premium in manga)

i'm wondering how DVD/BD sales are going, even though that's actually a niche product these days

It's clearly super bunny men
