Hot Take: Most of part 2 is just hype & aura with no plot progression.
Now a lot of you will say "BUT WE DID GET LOTS OF STORY. We learned that Fami is actually the death devil."

I feel like you can get rid of most arcs, and fights from part 2 and nothing in the story would change. You could just fill the gaps with a single chapter. All those moments with Quanzi seemed completely inconsequential to the plot of what's happening right now. The characters from earlier are completely irrelevant to the narrative, they were literally filler. And all the insecurities and development Asa went through, was solved off-screen when she became popular and started fighting.
Fight, fight, fight, fight and more fights. Then when it looks like people are losing interest, Fujimoto baits you with a cliff-hanger that makes you think things are finally picking back up again.
