Your Forma - Episode 8

picking this and sword of the demon hunter as the seasonals to watch was a mistake

It's not too late to start watching Maebashi

Soba eater is the best mystery show of this season.

Your Forma is better than Jinya's weirdo show.

Starting the show on the second novel was a mistake. I'm usually a fan of throwing the audience into the middle of things and letting them figure it out but this show has way too fucking much of that. Every other conversation features flash/callbacks to events that have never happened and we have zero reference for.

what's that about?

i still like this a lot, pacing's fucky but flat+robo chemistry is cute

hard disagree, dont care at all about previous cases. CID/AIgroup having no on-screen credibility is maybe even better for the arcs we have gone through.

Hieda got kidnapped and got PTSD

well maybe if I knew how true that was I wouldn't be so on the fence about using biohacking to cover up Harold's mess

the antagonist is fighting because CID is hiding the truth

if I already knew that was false this would be a completely flat boring arc. If it was true then I wouldn't necessarily agree with the conclusion.

The ambiguity isn't hurting the parts of the novel that are getting focus at all.

Even worse than skipping an entire novel is that they were too lazy to adjust the rest of the material to its absence. Last week's big emotional climax where Echika thanks Harold for helping her get over her sister must have made sense in the novels, but nobody who's just watched the anime even knew she had a sister. It's a complete shitshow.

This is just Bye Bye, Earth with robots.

You said you dropped this already dude, why are you still here.

The sister and situation mentiond since the beggining of the show? What do you win by pretending to be retarded? Problem here is that your argument to call this show bad is just not real, is there really nothing else to complain about it? I'm sure is not a 10/10 show in any sort of fashion.

Is it actually that bad? I'll admit it's the only show this season I'm lagging behind on (watched up to episode 3) and don't really feel motivated to keep going. But quality-wise nothing really sticks out negatively.

It's not good, not even interesting enough to be bad. It's very bland but I like the characters and the themes.

I don't want to watch this

what do I do

With that amount of intelligence I would recommend you to stop.

E predicted this.

She's bout to screw robot boy.

So did they eventually flash back to the beginning of the story, or do they just hope no one cares they completely skipped the first volume of the source material?

He would be in secret but also he would plan the attack and risk everyones lives too.

the cat was a robot and the chief had a backup

Huh. I guess it's true no one was killed then.

robit

maybe, or they just clone cats with the neck implant thing

The latter. I read an interview with the director and he's downright retarded. He says he wanted to focus on the two lead's relationship and he skips the story where they meet and get to know each other.

FUCK FAT PEOPLE

FUCK CLOUT-CHASERS

FUCK OLD PEOPLE

FUCK VTUBERS

so far

Is their meeting important? They work together.

>lowest rated show of the season.

first episode dropped you in the middle of the story

Huge blunder with that one

i think the story is the robo-romance and not the whole world of flat cyberdetectives

It's important because Echika fucking hated amicus and therefore Harold but learned to like him after he helped her come to terms with her sister's death.

My guess is they're following the English localisation of the novels.

She's so pretty

That Guilty Crown frame

She has pretty hands

She's insane.

she's probably not even wrong

Insanely pretty

>lowest rated show of the season.

Is it really that bad? QRD on this show?

Not actually true, other shows like Bye Bye Earth (complete clusterfuck nonsense plot with some of the worst writing in years) are far more hated, both in the west and in japan. But that one faggot here like to make threads every week about Nico-specific numbers and ignores all other shows

Needs breeding correction.

no its just not popular.... Detective and robots not good genre to sell

detective mysteries will always sell just not big, romance always sells but way more. idk if robots sell good or bad.
