Guilty pleasures
This trainwreck
What is it about? MMMMMMMMMMMMM FEEEET
Not really sure if I truly have any, since I tend to stop reading things real fucking quick if I don't enjoy it one way or another (esp art).
But I suppose this might fit the bill? Akutsu is absolutely among them tho, thankfully it's over lmao.
Akutsu is absolutely among them tho, thankfully it's over lmao.
Dawg Akutsu is just on hiatus it's not over the creator posted on Twitter that he sent 2 manuscripts for it
I'm looking forward to the tomboy raping ueno at the love hotel (as a joke)
is just on hiatus
Foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I gave up on picrel when it got licensed and the ongoing fan translation stopped. What was her job in the end?
and the ongoing fan translation stopped
That's when I lost track of it, only recently found out about the official release due to MD committing sudoku.
In other words: No idea lmao.
I know it's more of a fashion magazine than a manga, but I really like punk-goth fashion
This masterpiece is the only guilty pleasure manga that I’m reading at the moment.
This one was. Like a horny trainwreck with hilariously over-the-top misery porn that I couldn't look away from. Wish I could find another series to read like it.
If you think of it as a soap opera it's a 10/10 drama kino. I looked forward to shitposting every chapter drop because the threads were so funny. Sensei best girl
That whiplash transition from basic bitch edgelord to superior heroic clown was a real treat. Never seen this sort of stoic chuuni protagonist get spiritually and physically humiliated so badly by his own author three quarters of the way into a series.
Nothing guilty about cute delinquent wives.
it's gotten interesting lately inasmuch as i have no idea where the plot is going
the only trope that might be better than "delinquent who's also a maiden in love" is "tall scary girl who's actually a sperg"
Issue is that the art somehow got worse over time, plus things went on way too long as per usual and now its forever on hiatus
Neither does the author. I don’t think she’s ever known, to be honest.
Damn I miss this manga and it’s threads. I hadn’t had that much fun reading something weekly in a long time.
Death games are so trashy, but the high I felt from this was unreal.
I miss seeing characters like Amaya that get off on on a good fight
The manga isn't anything special, but this stupid twist lives in my head rent-free now whenever I see a genki girl character.
teen boy and girl overdosing on hormones cohabitating with zero supervision and madly in love to the point of thinking about marriage
refuse to touch one another
i get its haha its a romcom we have to push things out for 200 chapter before we get anywhere because FOR SOME REASON THEM GETTING TOGETHER IS ALWAYS THE END WE CANT SHOW THE RELATIONSHIP AT ALL
fucking hackfraud authors are all incels that never had a relationship i fucking swear
Readers would abandon a manga en masse if they did that, they want the endless tease. Romcoms are for good little subs who wear their chastity cage.
abandon a manga en masse if they did that
i know and i fucking hate it so goddamn much you have no idea. a romcom with a WORKING relationship can work just fucking fine but it tends to be only with adult couples for some reason, show me a retarded teen couple going through cute shit for once
Akashi and ushimitsu were fags.
Hated that Amaya and Shun got replaced by them
love that manga.
what the fuck is going on
Tell that to The Office
a lot of barking
Yea, no idea what he was thinking, Shun & Amaya were much more extreme & fun to watch.
It's been years since I finished reading it and I still remember having goosebumps all over when Shun saw Amaya jumping the rope so long that it killed the fucking robots from exhaustion or how excited he was while waiting at the door, longing for the next fight to come even a second sooner or when Shun gambled his life in the q&a sprint and acted like betting on a 50% survival chance wasn't completely insane.
Aaaah, good memories.
guilty pleasure
implying not patrician taste
...i suppose so
I don't feel any guilt in liking the things I like and if you do you're weak and a slave to what others think of you
It has a toilet scene.
goddamnshutup
dlinquent maiden
Read "furi-san is scary", right up your alley.
reading a series as it releases with anons
One of the few good things about this site. It's fucking impossible to read and discuss a series with anyone as getting them to read it first is difficult. The number of series I've read and discussed on here with fellow anons. Spirit circle was a great one, the world only fucking god knows, GrandBlue dreaming has been a ride, Rokudo was a fun one, cage of eden, criminale, there's many more, but I've forgotten them.
I actually grabbed the first english release because of this damn site hyping it up. Granted that was also because it was the mangaka of Hatsukoi Zombie. Still need to continue.
It's been years since I read this last. I got caught up and forgot to keep going. Last I remember was the pop the pirate game after the MC and his reunited buddy retardedly ignored the opposite rule and brought every fucking sword possible when they should've brought none. One of the best death games I've read recently was "though you're bones may burn to ash" and it guts me that the mangaka died in the middle of the series. RIP kakashi Oniyazu.
It was a good scene. I fapped to it many times.
I'm not sure what would constitute a guitly pleasure, I guess seven deadly sins as it's more mainstream and I tend to divert from stereotypical shounen trash, but by god the characters sell it. Maybe even Kaiju girl Caramalize, it's fucking cute.
I take that back, harems are my weakness, especially in the sexual aspect. Maga Tuski, I'm the demon lord but the hero is also me, destiny lovers, world end harem, parallel paradise, do you like big girls. Especially when it's one guy trying to sort through multiple girls like who wants to marry a billionaire, honey trap shared house or strategic lovers.
Headpat slut
If your delinquent wearing a huge baggy sweater isn't brought to tears by you headpatting her she aint the one
Yako makes reading this shit worth it. The author seems to recognize that she's the only likable character in the story so she gets all the cover pages.
Yeah, same. Should give it another read desu, hardly remember most of it, cause I had so much fun binging, but I do remember them being really fucking stupid, so you're right about that.
I'll give the bones manga a read, always saddens me when someone in the industry leaves.
Rip oniyazu-san
That's the tough part, it's good, some of the most detailed gore I've seen in a while, but also the story tugged at you multiple times. Part of me felt he was heading towards a happy ending, but I'll never know.
This is an excellent manga. Why would it be a "guilty pleasure"
godDAMN What a cover page
Read "furi-san is scary", right up your alley.
Based recommendation, need more like them.
Granted that was also because it was the mangaka of Hatsukoi Zombie
WAIT WHAT? Got done reading that fantastic read not long ago, so seeing it mentioned in 2025 is fun.
