Jojo

What exactly is it about Part 5 that makes it the least enjoyable part?

I FUCKING LOVE PART WARS

It's just a retread of part 3 but with less likeable characters and no racism against indians and arabs (lame)

That is definitely Part 7.
Araki can't write a constant plot or character arc to save his life. Steel Ball Run is basically unreadable because of that.
Also both the Spin and Johnny are total failures.

Someone says Part 8 is bad

"...."

Someone says Part 5 or 6 is bad

"OMG YOU ARE SUCH A FAGGOT FOR STARTING UP PART WARS DUDE YOU NEED TO FUCKING STOP!"

stone ocean sucks vento aureo kino jojorion kino

this but unironically
also confirms this thread was made by a mad part 8 defender

I am tired of part fagging and retarded arguments.
Post some original stand Idea and a cool moment/application you think it could have.
This is one of the stands I made for a Jojo roleplay campaign I made a while ago:
「All Good Things」is a short Range power type stand with the ability to create "Marbles of Desire" golden balls the size of a hand that when perceived will induce extreme levels of dopamine release on the target and make them believe they are close of the things they most desire, subconsciously forcing them to move towards the marbles of Desire.
With enough willpower or discipline one might be able to endure the effects but only for a limited amount of time
Additionally the stand has extreme raw power, accuracy, and speed.

This one belongs to a character that's meant to betray the good guys (players) plus its was also a direct counter to the main Jojo's stand (it had the ability to run extremely fast towards the things she desires) to justify the players jumping to save the day All of them got fodderized anyways and I needed to asspull their way out of that guy

Giorno is a boring character. He's the least interesting member of his own team.

Post some original stand Idea

Thread's dead before it even began. Congratulations.

and the Doctor warns it is regardless Pursuing

Ok, you are just retarded.
Post the calamity that got Josuke after that.
You can't because the doctor is bluffing, you niggers jump and scream like apes when a character says something because you take everything at face value.
You are also mindbroken for Josuke saying he wants to kill de doctor when that's not enough to trigger calamity and I already explained to you how the order of calamity works
You are just running in circles trying to burn the thread fast to get the last word, quite pathetic.

Yasuho triggers the calamity here by looking at his front

He looked at his back, manga reads from left to right, you just posted the evidence.

The escalation of the hairspray starts as [HEADCANON WITH NO PROOF]

There is a difference between guessing that...

Yeah Mitsuba not only is a stand user herself but also had more experience facing Calamity.
I don't know why you try to argue this when most stand explanations we've got from this part work like this.

You are using other instances of plot conveniences

To showcase another plot convenience

to dismiss a major contradiction

There's no contradiction, you are just retarded

intellectual dishonesty

Tranny word for people who don't know how to win arguments, if you can't provide solid arguments the only one who's intellect is lacking is you

I'd like you to post the page where this is stated

Wait till tomorrow implying Rai dies tomorrow

This is also contradicted numerous times.

It is not, you are just too stupid to think about the ability from the point of it's various systems, calamity can get stronger from distance and Karma, sometimes you might not be all that close but your karmic retribution fucks you over, or maybe you are clean but you got way too close

rain did way more damage to Josuke than many of the things that happened when he was pursuing

The only time when this is true is in Go beyond

manga reads from left to right

Apologize to VIZ now.

If you think about it, Damo just showed up and became the half-point like how Tooru just showed up and became the final villain.

You're think of part 6. The worst thing araki has ever put on paper

Plot relies to much symbolism while having nothing interesting to offer otherwise. Not to count lack of interaction between some characters (but that's a common problem in jojo let's be honest), everythings else is fun and enjoyable to read/watch imho. It certainly deserves some of the hate it gets, but not as much as some people gives it.

I enjoy how it feels like a grand biblical tale of god vs satan with all the Roman architecture and aesthetics and how the cast interact off each other. Some of the best fights in the series and captures such a particular vibe that no other media in existence could ever have. The color red immediately comes to mind when I think of part 5, it’s a bloody mess
Used to be my favorite part when I was in middle school but I like 7, 6 and 8 more now.

8

I meant to say 9, please excuse me holy shit
Part 8 threads have always been kino but the story ended up being complete dog water

DOO DOO DOO DE DA DA DA

That you haven't read Jojolion of course. That shit is irredeemable.

i might kill myself when the storytimes are over

This might have been the worst jojo volume ever
The first 2 chapters of this Jobin fiasco were pathetic. Literally all could be sorted out if he and his dad just had a fucking conversation. Oh, and dont get me started on the retcons. Not to mention ending on a fucking filler fight while we're at the climax of the fucking story

sorted out if he and his dad just had a fucking conversation

So mad about this. Why the fuck did he react like his dad is about to turn him in for murdering a fucking home invader? Norisuke would definitely have heard Jobin's side of the story before condemning him.

He would've drawn the line at sneaking into his place back and assassinating him alongside a non-stand user.

Not in terms of entertainment value, but in terms of storytelling it probably is (at least until volumes 26 and 27).

>Someone says Part 8 is bad

that's like saying fire burns, it's not controversial in any way

>Someone says Part 5 or 6 is bad

THAT's partwarring

ESL

every single time

SMUGporio.jpg - 450x551, 70.95K

He's a rich manchild spoiled by daddy and traumatised by mommy and he's so retarded it's infuriating, his villian monologue about climging to the top can't be taken seriously because he spends the entire manga bending over to the riggers and letting them as well as other enemies harm his family. His antics are just not enjoyable to read. Honestly there's not a single enjoyable character in the main cast of jojolion desu.

Where the fuck is Kaato in all of this

Hanging out with Kei

calamity can get stronger from distance

You made this up.

and Karma

Rai made this whole thing up to convince the prisoner to kill himself. There is no reason he would know that's how Wonder of U operates, and it's never mentioned afterwards. Plus Kei dies even though we know she's a good person., which is proof that it's not actually true.
And before you say "It's because she was close to Wonder to U", first she was as close to him as Josuke, and it can't be the case because you made up the fact that calamity gets stronger depending on the distance.
And before you say "But Rai died after trying to impale Wonder of U", yes, but this isn't proof that calamity gets stronger depending on the distance. Josuke tried to kick Wonder of U in the face but only got his shoulder impaled as a result.
And before you say "It's because he had high karma", this can't be the case because Rai made up the karma thing.

WoU is a better final arc than SCR

SCR was only two volumes. WoU is 7. SCR is better because it wastes less of your time.

Funnily, in the phantom blood ps2 game there's an alternate final fight where you have to defeat the other three 77 rings champions because Dio revived them

You made this up.

You likely don't remember in the manga but distance is the whole reason why Rai dies, even Tooru is unsure what happens when someone gets close enough to touch him, Kei TOUCHED WoU it makes perfect sense for her to get a huge lethal hit under said rules, Josuke never touched WoU

Rai made this whole thing up to convince the prisoner to kill himself

It is fascinating the mental gymnastics you are willing to take just to try to save face on a anonymous board.
Yeah sure, let's ignore an entire segment of the manga just because it stablished a rule that completely BTFOs your petty arguments.
Post any fucking proof of that, Rai had no reason to make that shit up when the criminal was going insane from his standard Schizobabble
Not only that but Tooru himself established a connection between morality and calamity in this page

SO hater is an ESL

and put them on the boat somehow, shout outs to this nigga who was this incredibly zesty back in the middle ages

I hope picrel is the JoJolands villain.

Also while i'm at it why aren't we talking about how SBR has had a complete Spanish translation for years but we're just now getting Volume 1 in English

What I wanted to see from Joshu at the end

Milagro Man happens, we don't see much of Joshu other than the gag of him annoying his big sis with his stand

When she says "one of these days you will end up in jail!" He surprisingly apologizes, leaving everyone a bit weirded out because Haato wasn't being all that serious

Skip to Tsurugi's transformation, he says the same things to his dad and he goes away just like in canon, but Joshu goes to see Tsurugi himself

When Jobin is about to kill Norisuke Something grabs Speed King's hand

It's Nut King Call

Flashback of Joshu right after the Milagro Man incident, He is hanging out with Norisuke explaining to him what happened

Norisuke shows concern and is worried about his son, he is also angry at him for not asking for his help sooner

This evolves into Norisuke giving Joshu the reverse of the speech Kaato gave to Join

"My son, honestly I can't say you didn't deserve it, you have done a lot of things wrong, but no matter how wrong you are I am still on your side, because we are family" or something like that

In the end Norisuke asks Joshu to think about the kind of man he wants to be

Back to the present Joshu shows Dark Kakugo, unironically making Jobin think twice about this

Still they fight, Jobin attacks using his beetles, storing a lot of heat on them making them go Crazy and fly against JOSHU

A single touch of those is lethal

Joshu answers by using NKC to disassemble the parts of the beetles that have heat on them

But Jobin plays dirty and one of the beetles targets Haato

Joshu without thinking grabs the beetle to protect his sister but suffers SK's attack in the process, losing the fight

After jobin dies he wakes up takes the Rokakaka and tries to save Yasuho

We get a genuine moment of honestly from him, acknowledging his mistakes but keeping his pride by not asking for forgiveness but a chance to do things right

He offers himself to do an equivalent exchange with Yasuho

Instead of crying like a bitch and turning into a zombie he suffers but TANKS the process

He is still disturbed from losing his arm but once Tooru appears he locks in he will avenge his big brother

Since we know Joshu is actually quite smart he figures out how calamity works and prepared an attack beforehand

From his point of view there's no way for him to ever get close to Tooru, that's why his attack needs to be perfect, not bound by his input at all!

Suddenly from the garage a bunch of random shit is flying around

Joshu used his stand to rearrange the engine of Norisuke's car into some kind of canon that randomly shoots anything that falls into it towards any direction in front of it

And it just so happens that Joshu disassembled fucking EVERYTHING there to fit inside the new engine

Tooru gets hit, Joshu gets hit, even Yasuho has to jump away and thanks to that randomness Tooru is legit unable to do anything other than try to run away

Still Yasuho makes the mistake of pulling her phone to call Kyo and Something almost falls over her, Joshu pushes her and takes the hit in her place, ending up unconscious

Everything proceeds according to canon, but Joshu now has a cool metal arm made with his stand powers

I hope we can have fun again in the part 9 storytime

But the part 8 storytime has been the most fun

what was the point of josuke having 4 testicles again

It symbolizes a shift away from the gayness of past Jojo parts

laughs

Catching up on the last 2 volumes

Anon posts Chase in both of them

Thanks

part 7

mc is introduced to us losing his virginity in a threesome

still the gayest part

part 8

the balls are literally touching

still the straightest part

Explain this.

Yasuho

What I want to see from Joshu

He remember Milagro Man being a thing and go grab it

At the climax of the story, Joshu appear and just give Tooru the money

Tooru now have infinite money that pursue him no matter what

Johnny get chummy with a MAN
Josuke get chummy with a GIRL

Remember Les Fuellies and Milagro Man combo would obliterate Tooru if used right. Calamity can’t even hit them because there are no user, they are forces of nature, above a puny human like Tooru

Joshu used his stand to rearrange the engine of Norisuke's car into some kind of canon that randomly shoots anything that falls into it towards any direction in front of it

No he would NOT do this

infinite money keeps pursuing wonder of u

causing infinite calamities to pursue milagro man

entire world is destroyed in the crossfire

part 9 takes place in a new new universe

Milagro Man was the most interesting plot line of Jojolion. It was a Stand manifested through pure seethe, the arms dealer was so angry that people harmed his family just because he was rich, enough to manifest Milagro Man as a “fuck you you want my money? Here take it, see if you like having ton of money”

Literally everyone in the city knows about the Milagro Man and to avoid it, except Joshu

and Toru because he's a rock human and never had anyone to warn him about it

cinema

How funny would it be if Jojolion was a story about Josuke discovering all the “curses” in Morioh and then they defeated Tooru by throwing all these “curses” on him?

I just realize Wonder of U would job to this so badly

Calamity? What is that compare to literal astral beings dragging your soul to Hell?

It certainly would've been more thought out than this.

already jobbing hard

She could be a traitor at most.
It was a decent backstory in a shitty arc.

Why doesn't Daiya just take away Tooru's memories?

Giorno is not very compelling as a character

Why doesn't Hato extend her heel to kill him without walking up to him

Why doesn't Joshu just unscrew calamity?

I don't hate the part but Giorno is kinda dull as an Mc
