La Squadra has a shared goal, but they all have distinct personalities and quirks; Diavolo is an enigma, but Doppio's there to balance it out
the jail villains feel a step up from Part 3, because they all have different reasons for being there and different schizo motives; Pucci has the best dynamic with the MC besides Jonathan and DIO
Parts 7 and 8 take bigger leaps, but either the characters flip-flop in their characterization, or Araki just doesn't balance the cast well

The value of Giorno confronting Fugo lies in seeing how a new boss would handle traitors. We've seen how Diavolo handles people who betray him.
Fugo would have mistakenly killed Narancia in my opinion, creating an emotional height between Giorno and Fugo. It would be ironic as Fugo had been the one who saved Narancia and introduced him to Bruno.

Maybe it's suppose to be a small nod to the original Josuke, since his design takes inspiration from one of Prince's costumes, but it feels like he mostly went with Soft & Wet, because he designed Josuke 8 as a sailor and they're associated with water, and by proxy, bubbles. I'm not sure what would've been a better choice.
