SBR has shorter volumes in general compared to the previous parts, and since chapters are longer in general DBanon needs to wait for a chapter to end before starting a new thread, previous parts had the threads ditched around the 550-600 mark compared to 750-800 like SBR, add into that the Anon Babble hack killing momentum and people not even being aware that it's back and you get less threads than previous parts.

i know after Stone Ocean's 5 threads there's a want to top that number of threads, but not every parts ending has to be bigger than the previous one.

Gyro and Johnny are definitely Araki's best written characters and one of the most believable friendships I've seen in a while. Most of the fights are good, but not exemplary, still think 5 and 6 mog in the fight department. But this is a case where the character writing is so strong that I don't even mind that much, I just want more Johnny and Gyro shenanigans. The beginning of the manga was ass though.
I'll give it a 10, can see why it's so popular and is definitely in my top 3 jojo parts now.
