Consequences: We learn more about makima’s emotional manipulation but it doesn’t seem like Denji changes much or does anything other than get horny + fight 7/10

Battle royale where a gorillion hunters chase down denji, a lot of people die which is cool but this is where I realise Fujimoto can’t really do anything other than kill people (basically Urobutcher 2.0), 6/10 but only because of the hype action/fights

The climax of part 1 didn’t have any build up plotlines or character arcs so it’s dogshit, all it involves is chainsawman reveal + makima killing even more people and the gun devil was a complete nothingburger that happened offscreen. Gun fiend vs Denji was the cringest shit ever. This is probably because fujimoto took a lolsorandumb approach of killing off the whole cast and asspulling nonsense. 3/10
