It was inevitable. Before it was common for good anime to come out no matter what genre you liked every year. Now we're getting exponentially more shows, but the good stuff are either rare or goes by unnoticed.

there's nothing obscure about how its presented, outside of that one scene where lain and eiri are speaking to each other out of each other's bodies. everything else is presented quite straightforward and explicitely
