There are no RPG stats in the series. It's an extremely well executed fantasy, with a lot of focus on world building.

The series does it's own thing and you can argue it has nods to video games, but at no point does it pull any vidya bullshit or try to force mechanics.
The only real thing you can argue is the mage having to recover mana, but it's just handled like physical fatigue, so it's pretty moot.

Doing work again, just some extra add-on stuff for now to get back into the swing. Playable Falin is looking like a real possibility, but I will be adding a made up OC attack for the sake of gameplay since not everything she can do in the manga translates well to DD1 gameplay.
