I remember being so fucking done with the show lmao. Another source of pure comedy was making Miroku and then having Hell bees be everywhere so he could do nothing. Those fucking bees dont even make any sense, Its not like he is Eating them!

LOL yeah, but it was entertaining for a while. They could have cut the series down by 3/4ths and then dropped the final act but hey Rumikos gotta keep making the big bucks. It was a nice departure from her older more antiqued style and did bring in some amazing characters like Sesh, as well as the epicly loud ending.

I have thought about this, insofar as asking the question:

Do any actually good isekai exist?

And I realized the answer was not Inuyasha, but Iruma-kun. This is just average, despite enjoying it as a youngster.

Pros:
- aesthetic and unique artstyle
- excellent dub
- interesting world
- interesting side characters
- Inuyasha himself is the best character in the show with an excellent growth arc
- Naraku's schemes are almost always entertaining regardless of success or failure
- genuinely nice character interactions

Cons:
- shippo
- grinds the same "jokes" into dust. Oh boy Miroku grabbed Sango's butt again isn't it hilarious
- lasts twice as long as it should have
- horrible pacing issues after the second season
- horrible power progression; always throwing a bigger/stronger blast. RT couldn't even think of a way for Naraku to fight back at all by the end, hope you like bees
- Kagome and Kikyo are unlikable even though they aren't to blame for their circumstances
