I mean, she still did in episode 10. I thought Nyamu would take on the Mutsumi caretaker role after how shocked she looked in Mutsumi’s “acting” scene back in episode 2, like it was setting her up for a redemption arc. But it ended up going in a totally different direction. Nyamu turned out to be the most IDGAF character ever, and her role was really just to push Uika into sending the lyrics to everyone.
They had no idea what they were doing.
She was only doing that because Taki told her to and wasn't even sure why she should be there. Which makes it even funnier than she if was only indifferent.
I used to imagine a scenario where Nyamu takes over the Soyo caretaker scene in episode 6. She’s the big sister in her family and probably knows what to do. Plus, the idea of her seeing Mutsumi at her lowest is a cool dynamic. The problem now is, there’s no real way to reveal Sakiko’s unfortunte situation to MyGO without Soyo digging the info out of Mortis.
Not that I care about redemption arcs to begin with. Soyo's redemption was cool and all, but I don't think it was necessary either.

I remember when a lot of anons thought that. Good times. The funniest part is that she never apologized to anyone at all, guilt-tripped Sakiko to reform the band, and despite her career tanking, she got to be with Mutsumi again. She is one of the biggest winners of the show, if not the biggest.

I really liked the scene in the bus. The scene at the loft was indeed nice, but I really liked it at the bus when Sakiko fell asleep and she ended up resting her head in Hatsune's shoulder, and Hatsune looked at her like the most precious thing she has.

Yeah, such an arch of redemption sounds beautiful and cat loves Mutsumi's acting, but back then she hated Mutsumi for being better than her and couldn't admit that she loved her acting. She definitely didn't care what was going on with Mutsumi. Not because she's bad, but because Mutsumi's acting made her so stressed out that she tried to literally forget Mutsumi
Also that's why she seethes everytime when she sees Mutsumi. Not because she saw her again, but because the world reminds her about Mutsumi. Everyone is discussing Mutsumi, no one discussing Nyamu

The thing is Nyamu wasn't supposed to grow close to Mutsumi. Her story was supposed to mirror Minami, in that Mutsumi's innate talent made her feel quite inferior, and you see how Mustumi pretty much lived rent-free in Nyamu's mind since ep2, and even more so after Mujica's breakup. The thing is that Nyamu, unlike Minami, decided not to see Mutsumi as some kind of monster that's better of ignored, but she decided to take her on instead, or even better, actually practise with her if possible.
I'm guessing they'll come up with an arc for this in S3.
