Singular Point was a mess of "2deep4u" bullshit and pointless exposition to try and justify the kaiju being there. It sits in the same rank as the mindfuck sequence of Godzilla 3 - The Planet Eater. It's BAD.

I could stand it if the characters and storyline weren't so paper thin cardboard cutouts who never actually seem to develop a single trait they don't have in the first 5 minutes. You'd think all this world changing stuff would correlate in some way to someone's personal journey, but no, it's boring ass characters reciting boring ass stuff that's instantly forgettable because it ultimately doesn't matter.
