Moreso Asa and Yoru both overcome their conflicts regarding perception by others and triumph by incorporating and synthesizing each other into a cohesive whole, probably something like Pochita and Denji. The message ultimately rides on the success of Asa and to a smaller extent Yoru, so having that choice being given to Denji instead robs her arc of its catharsis and doesn't convey what part 2 overall has been trying to convey up to this point.
