Kagurabachi-only doujin events every month until September

Looking at the catalog and knowing a lot of these series are from WSJ

Fuck these young mangaka are shitty artists. The quality sucks and is wobbly as all hell

Blame CSM and JJK for lowering the acceptable art bar.

Rookies need time to grow and a weekly schedule is a good way to improve.
Though I guess there's plenty of cases when the artstyle got worse over time.

I have been in mha and jjk threads for so long yet I have never seen any shonenjump fanbase in Anon Babble so obsessed with doujin events other than kgb.

Most of the Mangaka in the magazine are 30+
I think we only know 2 that are confirmed under 30

Same, I don't think I've ever seen fujos following everything so closely

They make cool art
Also it's fun to see a series without an anime be front and center for these events even with stuff like JJK and Genshin there

Gege had a pretty scribbly style but he actually had good visual taste and a great grasp for portraying volumes, which made his action scenes look very appealing. Good paneling, amazing (and well portrayed) poses, great taste in composition and all of that on a weekly basis.
People might disagree but if you compare it to many other series you'd see many other artists tend to compose their drawings in a very flat manner that looks quite boring and sometimes even unappealing.

Absolutely everything about JJK's art is pure dogshit

Attack on Titan did it before them too right? It’s a trend for sure now

What the fuck, I feel like I was born in the wrong place and time because my art was way nicer when I was freelancing in comics & animation and it was hard as hell to compete with crazy cheap and better artists coming out of the east

So he’s a good storyboarder not a good mangaka? Compare the manga to the anime; the anime makes it look like an early draft

Kill yourself nedicbas nedsabci.

Why don't you make your own manga anon
The competition is at the lowest possible currently

KGB official retweeted an ANIME MERCH ACCOUNT posting a KGB teaser

YOU ALL DOUBTED ME
THE JUNE ANIME ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE REAL

KGB anime before nue

KGB won.

I was staring at this design for a minute or so, trying to understand what I just saw. As someone who wasn't fond of Nue's actions in early chapters (too unclear with heavy black tones), I have to admit that the actions are getting better and I like it now. But sometimes he introduced designs like this and I have no idea what am I looking at.

KGB anime on Pride Month?

Our

Thread detectives!

So, we're gonna see KGB anime on Winter 2027, right? It would probably take 1 year to finished 24 ep.

blacked akanecucks

nobody cares about KGBT

Yeah, we care about BLACKED waifus here buddy

Why does it has to be in winter?

Post Nigfuku

Roach? Lost

I read through Otr. It's kinda mega generic. Don't know if it can do anything to interest me, but it's only been 4 chapters so far, maybe the author will throw some curve ball down the line, but I dunno.

I will try reading Shinobi next.

most "next big thing" anime is aired on winter.

literal repost

It's a merch store, it doesn't have anything to do with an anime

Otr is good and this is coming from a new casual who just started reading WSJ for the past year

nobody cares about mhcuck

I don't think this is the actual announcement, I think it's a bait and switch for when issue 28 comes out like 2 days later and we see KGB getting a cover for the week after (100% real)

Nue girls blacked

I'm listening

Himacuck...

Nue and blacked would be a good mix

Irrefutable.

how is it that kgb posters always get outed as actual cucks? this is like the fourth time now

Ned is already WINNING them over

Why are you projecting, nuecuck

Well we and Shueisha did hype it up as the next MHA/JJK

akane posters*
oh wait there aren't even 4 of them

You can blame Fujimoto for everything wrong with modern WSJ and Jump+.

I’m a westerner, which comes with multiple problems. I can’t make a manga by definition and because the comics industry in the west is a joke, nobody is going to be looking for a manga-style western comic online or published.

I tried with an idea which was similar to JJK in the 00s. Nobody cared even though Naruto & Bleach was doing numbers at the time. Comics publishers are boomers who don’t understand the appeal of manga. And manga fans don’t want Western authors in the West or East

only cucks could like kgb

Touge oni mangaka writes manga for the spanish artist which is published under Japanese publisher.

Lmao what you're old
And you're also a veteran then
There's a manganon that's going to be published soon in weekly shonen magazine iirc so even as a foreigner you can still do manga, you just need to contact the japanese edition companies, I don't know why you're trying to launch them with retarded comics boomers

Himaten thread is still up

This is kinda impressive.

Gege's got a rough lineart but that's it.

There's already a japanese person involved, and you can chalk it up as a meme collab, which happened many times.

Bachibros...What do we think about his multiples posts?

I can’t find anything that backs up your claim but regardless that series would not be published in the west under a western author

I’m only in my 30s, I did the freelancing & this through my early teens til late 20s. Very much a lack of opportunity era though I managed a few decent credits.

But yeah I contacted all the relevant mags, got polite replies back but they didn’t seem interested. It’s not surprising since the industry was doing so well at the time

Fair enough but this is the first I’m hearing of western authors doing manga. Feels like it’s only possible now the industry is strapped for cash and looking for fresh ideas as series after series crashes and burns and the cash cows have ended

Ruri got that Ntr doujin

Kgb got a few of them too

Blue box..lmao

It's a sign of success

Lmao
MHA Disneycuck is trans

just because something was written well into the narrative does not mean it was well written

baffling

Oh I thought you were 20 or something when you drew the freelancing and that you were now in your 45s, yeha you still fresh
I think if your style isn't too comics ish then you should still be able to strike gold if you have an interesting idea now since a lot of manga being published are quite boring and unoriginal
