Yes, it's really good but not only that, it's also seriously unique IMO. Can't really think of another anime with its kind of energy that I've seen. Maybe Shiki, as weird as that sounds.

I'm hesitant to call it outright bad because there are clearly a subset of people who see greatness in it, but just beware it spends a LOT of its runtime on ultimately irrelevant infodumps and dialogues.
