A long time ago I realized that I tend to attract people that aren't 100% on the same wavelength as I am, so I don't bother in trying to get them to enjoy things I like generally. When I find people it's because of a common hobby, in which case I keep things to said hobby, not trying to stray from that with the people, it's usually just not worth the effort.
If I know someone through games, I'll play and talk about said games with them, only going onto other things if they start it or I know they're interested in things from that region already.
Same goes for anything else, from TV shit, movies or technology related content.
There is so much gayming related shit especially that I'm into that no one else I know is ever into, so why bother trying to convince anyone to try it? I know them well enough to know that they don't care, and that's fine by me.
