Madoka magica

Yeah it was very kino

wtf

I'm glad you said 'one of' and not 'the' because than id have to remind you how lucy ripped nana limb by limb and left her to die bleeding on the pavement, which even if not the best, at least is better

It is a great scene. Really sweetens the ending where Madoka understands what Homu's been through instead of thinking she was some kind of creepy sex pervert.

Yeah, Homura's a creepy sex pervert who's been through a lot.

Lil' Kyubey

kek

Meduka

creepy sex pervert

THAT'S RIGHT HOMU

Homoura

Sad lesbians

Dead lesbians

I just finished Rebellion.

Why is it considered controversial?
The anime had a nice conclusion but it was open for a possible sequel, Homura had signs of being a psycho already in the original anime.
Maybe it's not as good as the original series but it's a solid movie and a technical masterpiece.

a. some people regarded it better than the original. how dare they.
a.1. it was different from the original in the direction it went. og tried to stay true to the idea that friendship and hope will win in the end, while rebellion truly embraced the whole deconstruction theme people claimed og had.
b. it had some fan pandering and while it is expected, it is still bad. madoka was a masterpiece, it shouldn't stoop to pandering like the charlotte/bebe instance.

My main complaint is that some characters like Kyouko, Mami and Sayaka were out of character. Althrough Kyouko and Mami were brainwashed and Sayaka was playing along, it doesn't change the fact that you don't see them in character for the whole movie which is annoying.
Also, like the other anon said, Nagisa is completely pointless.

Psueds who didn't understand why Homura did what she did and didn't actually pay attention. Also people who misunderstood Madoka and legitimately thought she was a typical infallible pink. They don't like the idea that Madoka is inconsistent between timelines and Homura might have actually been right to remember the crying Madoka that asker Homura to save her and never let her be a magical girl instead of the goddess madoka that is hardly even the same person anymore.

There's also the simple fact that the incubators were canonically trying to fuck with god doka anyway and Homura had to do something anyway.

Homura ruined the entire series after she became the main character.

b

no, the fanservice bit is sayaka and ringo being dykes

The main character is Iroha

is the charlotte thing really pandering? were there charlotte fans in the original series? i thought she was the usual useless brand-new character added to make figures and porn

people liked to ship mami and charlotte way before rebellion

what the fuck? how does it work? did she fuck the doll?

Homura is the best part of the series. Rewatch it.

Homura is crazy

And gay

When the FUCK is the new movie coming, I swear it was scheduled for 2024 already

3024

I don't really watch isekai.
Does the Minecraft movie count?

Sayaka isn't a dyke in any official content
And who the fuck is ringo

ringo is the japanese word for apple
ill let you guess which character in rebellion is an apple

Then that anon is twice as retarded because kyouko isn't a dyke in any official content either

sure go nuts

Mami is for bully

The spin-off shit ruined the franchise for me.
It was good, one and done series, before it got milked into oblivion.

As a Homura chad I loved the movie. Entire movie about Homura's psyche and all the dream like details were amazing. I'm guessing retards who didn't understand the movie hated it. Or Sayakafags

Magireco is garbage that has no relation to Madoka Magica. I just disregard it so it hasn't ruined anything for me. I do the same with other spin offs if they're bad, some are good though. But still not canon

The sad thing is that the animation/art was so beautiful for magireco despite how garbage it is. And then you rewatch the OG and there are so many garbage looking frames and scenes even though it's a classic.

It was entertaining enough but it just felt a little insulting to the tone of the original series. The "community of magical girls" stuff and needlessly including characters from the OG was the gayest shit ever. OG was a classic specifically because it nailed that feeling of isolation and loneliness and desperation so well. Magireo felt more like a damn marvel movie introducing new people with stupid powers every 5 minutes and then expecting me to go "OHHHH THAT'S MAMI FROM THE ORIGINAL SERIES HOLY SHIT CAMEO." The story was fucking confusing too.

Might give it a rewatch anyway I'm pretty desperate for content.

I don't know. I guess because the main series was very good by itself. Rebellion is very good for me, also i love the new interpretations fans have about that movie even the far-fetched ones.

1 day less for Walpurgis no Kaiten.

do you know that there are like 10 other PM spin offs right? the others are probably even worse.
I love Ino Curry but i feel like you and i have fear that the tone shift could kinda ruin the mood while waiting for the fourth movie.

The problem was wanting to make it a gacha. The gacha formula kind of requires there to be a gorillion characters.

Are any of them actually any good? I tried kazumi magica and thought it was kind of stupid. Made it like 2 volumes in.

i only finished it recently as well.
its just so fucked up that homura would trample upon madoka's pure love and kindness for her own selfish desire. i will stay mad if homura is not given a redemption arc in the theoretical sequel because as it stands she simply does not deserve madoka.

Most of Kirara Magica and the anthologies are good but most of them are just fun with the original characters instead of trying a side story.

TDS, the drama CDs and the PSP game are good.

Yeah I enjoyed TDS a good bit too.

Kazumi and Suzune were the most boring for me. At least don't try those.
