There are cockroaches with more of a sense of responsibility than this guy. If you gave a literal tapeworm the ability to talk, it would still have more empathy and self-awareness than Denji.

This revolting, fungus-infested waste of skin has no morals, no integrity, and not even the most basic concept of what it means to be a decent human being. He is the villain of his own story, and only brings misery to himself and everyone around him. Denji deserves every single ounce of suffering that comes his way. When he finally meets his inevitable, gruesome end, it won’t be a tragedy. It won’t be sad. It will be justice.

When you abandon the one person who actually needed you, just so you could chase your own pathetic, brainless urges, you are not a victim. You are not misunderstood. You are beyond redemption.
