Is long hair a must? Do they like blonde dudes? Most female favorites are dark haired i believe

Hair length, eye color... stuff like that is not so relevant as long as he is drawn to have an attractive face.
Athletic physique, ie. a body that is trained for movement and fight, not lifting weights (bodybuilders attract gays).
Powerful personality. He may follow orders, or be a total rebel instead, but he should at no point be a pushover and weakling.

I see, so good face, strong personality and athletic physique are the musts.
I'd take being violent and protective of the fmc (if there's one) too

Attitude is number 1.
Women like men that have a dangerous or potent edge to them. He doesn't have to be violent, but he has to feel like he has some mental and physical toughness and bite, if it comes down to it.
A feeling that he has control over himself and his circumstances is a big appeal.
Ideally, he'll have a dark side that he keeps under control that can only be brought to the surface and then repaired by a woman.

A character like Kakashi Hatake, Satoru Gojo, Jotaro Kujo, Levi Ackerman fit these, for example. For names that most people on Anon Babble will be familiar with.
Gojo and Jotaro are both very large men, particularly so in the second's case. But their appeal is a mix of that and their attitude.
The second two are heavily carried by their attitudes. Levi is a short man with a decent face, but has a really attractive personality that is in-control, not a push-over, but also not sadistic and he aims to better himself and those he cares about. Kakashi isn't that physically remarkable and you can't even see his face, but his mix of laconicism and nurturing attitude with a rough traumatized edge is extremely appealing. Jotaro and Gojo also both have this leaned into, with women fanartists/fanfic authors leaning into them being traumatized from their life experiences and requiring nurturing to recover.

Depends on what counts as pretty boy.
Gojo is a pretty boy, he's basically beautiful and is prettier than most of the women in his series.
But he's also like 6'5" and built like an Olympic athlete. And that aspect is definitely leaned into for women fantasizing.

Pretty sure Guts is like 90% man appeal. Observation tells me that being that muscular, scarred and square jawed isn't in line with they types of characters women like the looks of. He is edgy though.

Don't be fooled, Guts is very admired by the ladies. It's just that Berserk in general has a bigger male audience
