Why are those series so frequently discussed here? On Reddit or other places, those series are obscure.
Because Anon Babble actually watches anime and reads manga instead of chasing "hype and aura moments"
mfw
Because you can't discuss it anywhere else.
In case of Precure maybe people are too embarrassed to openly discuss a show made for literal toddlers and Anon Babble provides some sort of anonymity to them.
Why would I care what reddit does? Why even bring it up? Go back
/pc/ just goons to the girls and MAYBE sometimes talks about the show
That's okay. Precure hasn't been worth of actual discussion for a decade if not more anyway.
reddit only watches what's trending with black people on twitter
On Reddit or other places, those series are obscure.
bait
The one good thing about Anon Babble is that we talk about all kinds of anime, not just what gets 'hype'.

When it comes to shows for 5 year olds, a lot of it is autism.
Not saying you can't enjoy a diverse range of media but a lot of the people in these threads are lifers.
I just wish it didn't result in daily threads, you DO NOT need a general for a cartoon aimed at children in diapers and browsing thru these threads, you see how aimless they are. The same ritual posts, danbooru spam, AI spam and trite arguments about "which character is the most huggable" or "has the best braps" every day.
I really fucking hate how both /pc/ and /ai/ force themselves to have 24/7 threads when it's all ritual posting, image spam, schizos arguing non-stop etc. Just one thread per week would be more than enough if people would actually post something worthwhile in there.
meanwhile, posting one of the worst flops of the decade
Retard
It's because of consistency, it gets 50 episodes per season, and a new season starts the week after the previous one ended.
Even your regular CGDCT gets like 12 eps per year (or worse, every other year).
Precure has immaculate consistency and that keeps the momentum going.
I agree with the concept and ideally any threads made in the middle of the week could just discuss older seasons or things like that, but it falls flat when nobody's actually discussing anything after a day or two. like, just look at the archive of the last thread. it's two schizos screaming at each other about an entirely unrelated show randomly interspersed with some guy posting cum tributes. I'll grant you that it's a rather extreme example of how bad things can get but it's really the fate of any "general" on this website.
That doesn't mean you need a rolling general.
Especially when Precure scripts can be reduced to a boilerplate template because it's written with 5 year olds in mind.
Dicussion makes sense if there's something to discuss but the show is so formulaic and narratively light that there isn't any substance to mull over and this is best typified by the threads themselves. Even an hour after airing discussion reverts to the same ritual posting and image spamming.
It is what it is.
Some shows aren't popular enough to survive the whole week, some are either because became FoTM or because they have a big legacy with hardcore and casual fans, in the end you can't stop people from making threads.
It isn't a new concept, CGDCT threads have a lot of "cuteposting" too.
Precure is basically that with a layer of superhero fighting and some overarching plot. It's no EVA but it's charming enough that people come back for more.
I'm not asking you to justify the series, I'm just saying it doesn't need a 24/7 thread. The same is true with a lot of things in the Anon Babble catalogue.
This board used to actively ban people for making generals, the site was objectively healthier then.
Most generals just act as a daycare for autismos.
Is this the designated troons cry about no one caring enough about their slop for it to get a 10 reply post thread?
On Reddit or other places, those series are obscure.
And that's why Reddit and those other places are shit
Anon Babble has better taste unironically
When you're show premieres new episodes every week, it's kind of hard for threads about it to not devolve into a general.
Ryza… why are you smiling like that…
Zatch Bell
Unironically the best battle shonen when it comes to what it does.
The lack of upvotes systems, people here can discuss things they actually like instead of being on a permanent search for doing a post about the new hip thing to get extra online pointless stats.

Nobody cares Costanza, you're bald.
You're not making any sense.
Why should it devolve into a general?
Why can't you have only 3-4 threads over the course of Sunday and Monday?
a few autists will ritual bump it one more day at least, and a few schizos will add so much filler it swells into even more threads.
Precure's thread existed at the same time as Anon Babble, and it can be said that the Precure thread is the longest-running and oldest thread on Anon Babble. Moreover, Precure has new episodes every week, and there are many new topics to discuss.
What should puzzle you is that for an outdated and unpopular animation like CCS, there are still autistic people posting every day. Even if no one wants to participate in the discussion, these autistic people will still keep talking to themselves to prevent the thread from dying quickly.
Please kill the autistic people in CCS first.
If you're an oldfag you'd understand why generals are cancer, so we wouldn't need to explain why you only need a thread on airing days
>Precure
Still currently airing
>Bastard
Literally no one talked about this until the new anime which is also getting another season
>Zatch Bell
Currently new running manga
>Kinnikuman
Just had a new anime adaption
>Digimon
A still currently running franchise with new anime, games, and manga

For people like you
Nobody cares about your war stories, grandpa.
why are you seething that your series can't get a monthly thread let alone a weekly one let alone a daily one let alone a bihourly one?
Madoka?
yea we need your blogposts starting with
just watched
that get 7 replies max
Have you noticed that Madoka and CCS threads rarely reach 500 comments, but every Precure thread can reach 600 and 700 comments.
because they're ctrl-vs of random MAL reviews

That never stopped the MLP fanbase.
I had a friend that never stopped recommending Zatch Bell to people. I never read it.
