i thought the harem aspect introduced towards the end of season 2 was fucking retarded and i also didn't like just how long it took for both rudeus and sylphie to get it on, the show really drags its feet on that shit and for a couple episodes there was little to no progress with it.

other than that i didn't really have any issues with it on a writing level, pretty fun show but i doubt i'll stick around for season 3

The writing gets really dumb. He's supposedly traumatized by others but he immediately gets over it. He's fat and lazy, but now he's Rudeus, he's adventurous, athletic, smart, etc. if he was a fat neet before, he would have been a fat disgusting neet now. A lot of the problems are also solved by plot armor and magic convenience. Hell Rudy suddenly running into paul just because the plot demanded it is dumb already. The writing is fine the light novels are really fun and enjoyable. When we are talking about the anime was a quality dip in season 2 that they are allegedly going to fix. But it wasn't a writing issue. They bled animation and director tallent after season one and it showed.

I disagree I think the dialog even in the anime fits the specific characters. There is a huge difference between the away ruijerd superdia, roxxy, and the average normal background character talk and the way that rudy, eris, and zanoba (the autistics) talk

the people who say polygamy bad in the world of mushoku tensei are not the people who are kidnapping and murdering children. Most of the world is indifferent or supportive of polygamy, slavery, and the right of conquest. The Millis faith is the only group in MT that is actively against polygamy. They are supposed to be a fictionalized version of the catholic church and outside of their own territory they aren't regarded well. Asura being one of the only other kingdoms that has a high number of faithful members of the church. Most of the rest of the world is indifferent or hateful towards them.

I like having a story where there are different points of view. I am a devout Christian in real life. I don't particularly like the Millis church in MT. I can be objective and enjoy the story and characters for what they are. Clif is a faggot and there are no really interesting millis characters other then Zenith and the knight who Ruijerd was friends with but we dont get any real backstory or time with either of them. I would love to read a LN thats just about fangs of the black wolf and zenith similar to how they did a roxxy manga.
