In fairness, I think that while Tatsuwa is one of the weaker Shaft alumnis, his main problem after leaving the studio is just that he just keeps chaining himself to these dogshit productions with stories that do not fit him in the slightest. Guy is much better suited to direct stuff like Katte ni Kaizo rather than most of the shit he's been doing over the past decade. I think Seitokai fits his sensibilities well enough, I'm not scared for it, specially with Imamura by his side, their stuff for Kaizo is very good.
