ITT: Hype moments that made you lose your shit
So he held a fart for too long? That looks quite tame
didthey animate the american lady fight with this guy yet?
do you get paid by the post or by the response?
It was pretty good
Shit was so cash
huh I couldnt find it on netflix
The movie fucked it up, like everything else.
on netflix
What kind of ape actually "loses their shit" over a goddamn cartoon.
The anime didn't match to the hype up scene in the vn. Also fuck the nine lives blade works in the movie. That shit was so tame wtf
I can't really remember the last time an anime made me feel this way.
If a manga counts, in Akame ga Kill, when Tatsumi made the trade with his armor, of only having a few months left to live, in exchange for insane power, that let him turn into a monster and win a fight against Esdeath to save his friends from brutal death.
That was the hypest moment I can remember.
I fucking love faustian bargains.
Who are you trying to impress?
when ichigo saves rukia
one of the best climaxes of an arc
Most of the big fights in MHA
Modern normalfag "fans" are cringe but that won't make these scenes hit any less
Bleach has a lot of great ones too
any time Ichigo finally arrives
when the captains showed up in Hueco Mundo
Renji vs Uryu (TYBW)
Ywach vs Genryuusai
Peak, the absolute PEAK of the monster taming genre
Fuck yeah. Immortal moment.
Shit like this makes me so angry. If you can do that to a mountain, this planet is no longer for you. Anything you do will just obliterate the Earth because your strength is beyond comprehension, like you don't realize how much force is needed to destroy a solid rock mountain like that in a split second, not even a nuke can do that. If fights you participate in do not obliterate the Earth after this feat then the author is truly just a retard.
destroy a solid rock mountain like that in a split second, not even a nuke can do that
TNT has left the chat
Cuckdoriya was destroying icebergs with the wind created from flicking his fingers. Horikoshi is a textbook waterhead.
I love a good payoff.
Shonentards were a mistake
That scene with Mugen in Samurai Champloo.
Had a gigantic grin on my face during this scene, little bitch deserved every bit of it.
Yes, even knowing what exactly provoked this spergout.
zorblag using secret blimblab technique against hurglup
The scene where he is limping towards the two traitors?
Yep
what's up with all of these buzzwords
there are "people" who "watch anime" but hate anything anime does
Covid should have killed you all
ReacTubers who need to put on a performative chimpout for that sweet monetisation revenue.
Dude... i rock.
This was very cool
Although i didn't really understand the story too well
KEK gottem
how the fuck did he go from pyjama neet to ripped without lifting a muscle?
without lifting a muscle
Speedreader missed the part where he spent half a year fighting Gigantomachia in the woods
He got every OFA quirk which probably has several physical boosting ones it'd be strange if he remained the same
i'll be surprised if anyone actually knows what this is from. this moment actually made my jaw drop.
He got every OFA quirk
Not at that point, he hadn't even fought Deku yet
Steins;Gate is mostly trash but the last episode or two was kind of hype. If the whole show was like that it would've been good.
Revue isn't that unknown around here.
thread is already filled with shonentards so i figured the chances of them knowing it is next to zero. nice to see another fan though!
This is a weird one because it basically makes you root for the villain. But this episode did a fantastic job at showing her point of view.
shounentards
Seething because your anime will never be this cool
"Samurai guy cuts bullet in half" is usually a tired old trope, but this scene really sold it.
It helps that Kosame was an extremely likable character.
my anime is already cooler.
*jrpg battle music starts playing*
Nippon steel
female protagonist
No it isn't
bringing up WW3 as a last minute asspull
The ending of S;G wasn't good, actually.
none of the hype moments
This is blatantly disproven by observing how they turned Sayaka into a JoJo character and gave her all the aura that comes with it.
i really enjoyed the end of the first season of symphogear
Has to be this for me.
Gogeta in fusion reborn becoming a thing or Goku vs Vegeta were just as hype but this one takes the cake because you do NOT expect fucking Tien to pull up and do this.
Basically
there's some giant cosmic red alien that's super strong
guitar bitch falls in love with him because he's super strong
he gets sealed/jailed (can't remember which)
bitch comes to Earth and uses people with the right potential to use them as portals
keep pulling random shit from the portals hoping it's gonna be Atomsk
she tries with the algae bushy hair dudes at first but he sucks at it so she ditches him and goes for MC next
she thinks it's another dud but sticks around because MC has a robot thing that she suspects is related to Atomsk (it is, she just didn't get to see it turn red the first time around or whatever it was)
she kills people who get in her way and doesn't really care about all the deaths the monsters she pulls out of the portals cause
MC eventually fully frees Atomsk at the end while fighting something can't remember what as he tells the guitar bitch he loves her and she leaves to go find Atomsk again
She was really a piece of shit not gonna lie, straight up almost killed MC's dad and replaced him with a clone and it got swept under the rug too, man would've been an actual goner if MC hadn't found him.
TIENSHINCHAD
This manga as a whole is a hype moment, i loved it
Opposite for me, that was when the story started going downhill, I can almost pinpoint that as when the quality dived.
It's like one of those Isekia underdog stories where the MC almost immediately becomes the best ever at everything.
The plot just pivoted completely around to sucking the MC's dick, constantly. He was the only one that was allowed to do anything, everyone else jobbed and their villains always escaped without issue, he was always right, everyone else was stupid or if they weren't stupid there ideas wouldn't work anyway, his morality was always correct blahblahblah.
I lost interest fast.
I thought it was kinda average honestly, good panels but the scene itself was average characterization wise. We really barely got to know that guy and they were throwing all this personal stuff at us that we barely even got to process, it came too fast.
The stuff I actually liked was how nonchalant and against the flow MC goes after the time skip and just his interaction with the smoke girl otherwise, I don't really fuck with his relationship with the chain faggot and was raising my eyebrows when the muscle girl told him he was even more wrong than chains dude for not talking to him.
MAKUNOUCHIIIIIIIIII
SENDO-SAAAAAAAAAAN
The plot just pivoted completely around to sucking the MC's dick, constantly
Tokio spends the next big arc getting rekt, kidnapped, abused in nearly comedic ways, and even after the timeskip he still makes mistakes, loses and gets absolutely roasted by his friends for being an insensitive dumbass. The only character ready to devour his cock is the horny hyena who is just as much of a dumbass as he is. So i have virtually no idea what you're talking about.
I forgot the World War 3 shit coming up out of nowhere for extra fake stakes. Maybe no part of Steins;Gate was very good now that I think about it.
