These are her personality traits that she retains for her former self probably. But I notice she does not feel pain even when Denji turned her body to mush. Aging devil and Death devil, two primals, do feel pain and they often go "ouch". Falling just complains that she's not a corndog as if pain isn't even a factor. Even when FSM attacked her she did not express pain. Also she never questions Shiga, only obeys her.

When Black CSM destroyed Yoru's remaining arm and even damaged her stump, Asa did not even let out an ouch. She just continued mouth-breathing.

Notice how Aging devil, a primal devil who's stronger than falling feels pain and goes "ouch" quite often? He even comments extensively on it saying what Pochita did to him was the most vivid pain he felt.

And she also did not feel pain when Black CSM cut her remaining arm off.

Falling seems tankier than the other primals so far.
She has near instant regeneration and boasts that nothing in human's possession could kill her, while Aging needed sacrifices to regenerate, and seemed convinced that Pochita could kill him (without erasing him).
I think there's just a hierarchy even among primals and Falling is at the top. She has required no sacrifices so far to pull off the crazy shit she does.

Asa is definitely important to Death's plan, while Yoru feels nothing, Asa's guilt almost drove her to end her own life. Whatever weapon she creates next is gonna be super powerful.

I was not the first person to suggest Asa is a pokemon, but when one anon suggested it I dismissed it because of my subjective affection for Asa. Now after actually thinking about this, and especially when remembering the saying Pain is Life, my light-bulb flickered and I cannot deny it anymore.

It sucks shit because that dismisses Asa's entire character and it means she died off screen. That's awful and hard for readers to accept. However if Aki was partially under Makima's control to a degree in Part 1, it makes perfect sense for Asa to be under Shiga's devil power (not just verbal manipulation) which only works if Asa's a pawn. Both horsemen used their devil power on a major character for an extended period of time, and in both cases the power worked only partially, never fully (Aki still questioned strange things that concerned Makima but never saw them through to a conclusion until it was too late). It sucks but if I'm wrong then she would have expressed pain at least once in Aging arc, but she didn't. Not once.

At some point we're told she sought out Kiga-chan. Now that Asa is back in Shiga-chan's mits for a whole week and Nayuta is dealt with, why wouldn't Shiga do to Asa what she originally intended to do but was cucked out of by Nayuta and PS? Yoshida was no longer trying to save Asa / capture her, he gave up on her, and Asa is not going to be saved by anyone. Makes sense for Shiga to kill her and eat her, and since she has a certain amount of control over her pawns you'd think she could make them forget if that's what's desired of said pawn. It sucks shit for that to be the case, but everything in Part 2 sucks.

In writing terms authors are obligated to use hint scenes / setup scenes that serve no other purpose but to create an early hint to an upcoming twist. The scene between Nobana, Haruka and Barem was exactly that, it was a hint/setup to a future twist.

That's writing terminology and the methods in question are obligatory. In part 1 you had that with Beam/Aki, Kurose/Tendo right before they died, and finally Aki/Angel concerning Makima's nature and powers. The only thing that is debatable is what exactly was this scene a setup for? Not the twist that Kiga-chan is Death-chan because this is Asa Mitaka related.

So another twist concerning Asa's nature will have to happen, and the scene in the restaurant was one of the hints to it. Go on a guessing game what this reveal/twist is gonna be. Asa being turned into Shiga's pokemon already at that point is a highly plausible one unless you have a better one. And no, FC is bullshit.
