He would be able to easily see through her deceptions just based on the information he had. Like, take the book and receipt for example. Her story went that she was so eager to read this new book that she couldn't wait even 1 day to get it, and contacted a friend who worked for a bookstore as a proxy to buy it for her that night, so she could have it the very next day, during the typhoon. Instead of curling up with her much-anticipated book she for some reason decides to visit the Newspaper Club, then leaves behind the book she went to all that effort to get, and doesn't even come back to get it after realizing she forgot it.

This is the kind of behavioral discrepancy that Jogoro is very likely to notice. The only reasonably conclusion you can draw form this is that she only bought the book for the sake of planting that receipt in the Newspaper Club, to make herself seem suspicious.

The point of the last two episodes were to show that Osanai and Jogoro are literally made for eachother. Not in a romantic way but in the sense that they're both too twisted and non-shoushimin that if they end up with other people it'll only end disasterously for the other person so it's best to contain these two psychos to eachother

Jogoro is pretty harmless, it feels wrong to call him a psycho. He's definitely not normal and doesn't mesh with normal people at all, but his influence on people around him is benign. Osanai, on the other hand, actually is dangerous. She could be far, far more dangerous than she currently is, if she wanted to, but is mostly just like a rattlesnake. Content to be left alone until somebody disturbs her, then her fangs come out. So far nobody's died, but she could easily kill if she wanted to.

I hope the rest of the episodes are jogoro and osanai making up and going around tasting sweets and solving little autistic mysteries until the end.

The dialogue does have a confessional tone to it. I like how even when characters are on the phone they frequently show them standing or sitting next to one another as if the conversation were happening in person.
