How did this shit end? Last time I read it years ago Not-Zoom was the main villain and was fucking shit up.

It ends with number 6 committing sudoku after being unable to beat Koichi, then he sees memories of Pop before dying, knowing at the last second that he wasn’t an empty being. The vigilantes survive, Pop manages to return the allmight hoodie (Koichi doesn’t notice it’s the same one he gave to her), both had to go separate ways because the government wanted to arrest his ass for all the damage he caused and ran away to America (as refugee) as Captain Celebrity’s sidekick while Pop was stuck on the hospital in rehab, but both kept contact with each other. Knuckleduster meanwhile was the sole vigilante left still taking care of the city. The end.

It wasn’t a bad ending, but needed a little more to be a 10/10

After insecurities between her and Koichi increases, Pop goes with the main villain who was pretending to be a music producer, invites her to his building and then kidnaps her so she gets a bee parasite inside (via her left eye). End result: she becomes a villain alongside the final boss of the story.

In any other manga, those happenings would happen across different characters. But Pop is like a magnet, every single bad thing that could happen to her ends happening.

By the end of the manga, pretty much all the main characters paid a heavy price, where as in the main story, pretty much everyone got off lucky. Delu lost his powers, half a dozen heroes got new scars, and jiro lost one of her lobes. If half the shit that happened to pop happened to ochako, there would be a much different view of her character.

Exactly how I feel. MHA starts and ends with Quirkless Deku, and Uraraka doesn't have much of a change either.
But Koichi, Pop and Knuckle each face their challenges and are severely changed by them. I wish Uraraka had changed as much as Pop, that would have been such a fun character.
