Romcom Council Meeting

It's been a long time, but I'm calling this meeting to order.

How is your romcom of choice doing?
Shill your favorite romcom
Shittalk your most hated romcom

Still no progress

Not my favorite, that's Seishun Buta, but I watched Canvas 2 recently and it was surprisingly enjoyable. The one I hate most is probably Tomo-chan. Not only do I not like tomboys, but it also shits on the pretty girl and says she just does it for attention.

Is Uzaki still ongoing? If not, then all of the girls' manga are already over and the council needs new members.

they are emeritus board members

If it had ended, we would have heard about it.

None of those are any good, I can't beleive I let you fags trick me into reading this gay shit

Smokers is an drama arc, it should end with the next chapter

school romance is just a suicide fuel

I really need to read the dorky rocket scientist romcom.

Only if you are mentally weak

Why? It's just nostalgic for me. Doesn't it remind you of your first love?

No, it just reminds me of female cruelty and disinterest during those years

I was reading far too many ongoing manga so I instituted a no new ongoing policy a few years back, and now with all these romcoms ending in the last year or so, I'm running low. I should have had a one out one in policy, but I didn't, and now I need to scramble to get to a comfortable amount of ongoing series. but I'm completely out of the loop on romcoms, and with how mediocre most of them turn out to be, I'm not sure if I want to bother. it's much more painful reading a chapter every week, or two, or month, for years, waiting for excruciatingly slow progress to happen than it is to read 80 chapters in a day or two once the series is finished
for me romcoms rarely get me depressed. it's the romdrams where people have issues that get to me. I read forget me not yesterday after seeing a thread about it on friday, and it's got me reflecting and not feeling good about my life choices. I sometimes feel anger at romcoms for stupid plot directions, but they're usually so cute and low stakes that they just cheer me up

There's finally progress in the fake-fujo manga.
They will find a way not to confess

Fuck off with this retarded forced meme, it's never going to take off.

All progress has stalled in Pink Moeblob vs Snake to focus on mobface with giant tits.

Stark will win

first love

huh?

Your first love anon. The girlfriend you had when you were in middleschool or highschool. Your first one.

If you have more than one "love", you're a whore

I'm a man.

Manwhore

Love is transient, shaped by whims.

Am I really the only one who's looking forward to the ImoUza anime?

Very well, actually.

Momose Akira has nice art, but all these closeup shots are getting repetitive

Shill your favorite romcom

Someone already did so I'll shill a new one I'm reading.

Shittalk your most hated romcom

Kanokari is Kanokari.
Yes.

Forgot pic

I'm so glad we finally got another adult, last one was Tama and that was back at 2023

Not a romcom, but Ori no Naka got delayed for another week.

This cute little manga got its final chapter TLd days ago. The art wasn't the greatest but the girls were cute. The story was something I used to imagine in my childhood so I was fond of it. I'll miss it.

Damn. I'm still not sure which direction this will go but at least their date was very cute.

Saki's 18, but I get what you mean. Kimari is sex.

Interesting art, what's it about?

They're literally dating

Shy girl likes playing soccer with the guy she likes.

She won

I think I like romcoms but they also make me sad because I was always too autistic, too self-absorbed and never interested in love to persue a girlfriend and now I'm a bit too old for that kind of stuff.
