Fujimoto already told you he was trash that wanted to use his identity as Chainsaw Man to manipulate women into having sex with him, with Denji himself acknowledging himself as trash. Asa doesn't deserve the blame for part 2 being trash, Denji himself said only a desperate girl would fall for him. So Fujimoto knowing his characters better than anyone had to create the heroine Asa Mitaka to accommodate Denji's patheticness and subsequently the narrative for Part 2.
