Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Chapter 22 thread

Not going to spend 40 minutes dumping because nothing interesting happened. By all means if someone else wants to go for it.

Ugly ass motherfucker.

What is Love?

What an absolutely disgusting color page.

For a seconf there i thought the thumbnail said dorito

she's gonna send Daemon to rescue Boruto, right?

Who?

40 pages for 2 rasengans and hardly any dialogue

Either Daemon or Hima because boruto is done otherwise

62647843.jpg - 980x550, 92.87K

Hima and who?

Why Koji says Boruto has no chance? The fight looks tied.

Did you finish the chapter

jura hasn't landed a single hit

He’s not even trying though. Meanwhile Boruto’s hits are doing absolutely nothing.

Boruto dies then Sumire brings him back with science. Saradacucks will seethe on the corner.

is there a single well paced v jump manga? seems like not a single writer they have knows how to pace things for a monthly release schedule instead of a weekly ine

mom, can we buy jojo

we already have jojo at home

jojo at home:

The editing situation over there is pretty grim. It’s the time out corner for unworthy shonen jump where writers can do whatever they want without jump caring.

Not a fan of Uzuhiko being tied to the planet. It should be an ability Boruto can charge up on his own. Even if he’s resisting using his karma and Ōtsutsuki stuff he shouldn’t lack this much potency. However it’s still salvageable if we view this version of Uzuhiko as a pure ninjutsu version and there is a much more powerful and complete shinjutsu version, which makes me think back to that one Shibai panel.

Ikemoto’s lack of creativity when it comes to these fights is concerning. To the point it seems he’s purposely resisting elaborate abilities, as usual we can only hope for the future. At the very least if he was going to keep Boruto and Jura’s fight this short and straightforward he shouldn’t have spent 40 pages on it.

What a divine cover.

this manga wouldn't even be that bad if the pacing was faster

What is love?

Baby, don't hurt me

One thing i really like Boruto as a character is that he doesn't try "TNJ" the enemy.

When Jura asked about love i was already expected two pages of Boruto explaining what is love and all that "power of friendship" bullshit.

It’s ironic and hilarious how Sumire copes in the same way Jura cope does. That love is a weakness that leaves exposure and Boruto must “logically” stay away from Sarada to protect her and others he cares about. While in actuality it’s the opposite: Boruto, and Sarada, derive strength from love despite the contingencies. Boruto happily fought alongside Sarada against Hidari while Sumire was drooling on the floor. These past 2 chapters go to show that Boruto and Sarada are just going to get even closer to each together and will probably fight together again soon.

So, Jura´s shinjutsu work like the bijuu bomb/rasengan huh?

Well yeah Boruto’s actions have been a walking contradiction to Sumire’s rant. She only said that stuff because she’s a jelly slut. Except last chapter removed all the contingency from Sarada’s end since she’s magically powerful enough now to compete with everybody. So now it’s nothing but a clear road and skies for Boruto and Sarada to get together and passionately have sex. Just as Ikemoto intended.

Meanwhile Sumire….

Boruto thread

Dead thread

Jiren enter to sve this thread.

Sumire sure is lucky.

Everyone is busy reading the manga to care.

Sarada was obviously going to get a power up but unexpectedly Ikemoto front loaded it so she can be relevant throughout TBV I guess. Sumire is stuck in the role people thought Sarada was going to be stuck in. Kawaki’s personal crybaby pocket pussy. Kinda like Sakura but without the bitching and slapping.

Interesting. I agree. I don’t think Sumire is unreasonable or outright WRONG but she isn’t suited for Boruto and with the context of the latest chapter her lashing out at Sarada comes across as even more petty and immature than before when before I gave her more benefit of the doubt. She should just sit things out, she just doesn’t seem mature enough for romance in general. I think an off screened epilogue pairing would be best for her if she’s meant to pair up.

What did you think of the Ikemoto Q&A? I thought it was disappointing.

KawaSumi is SasuSaku

Grim

we finally got to know kawaki's favorite dessert flavor, so all is well

There was no way the Q&A was going to have anything truly interesting. I’m disappointed Momoshiki’s future sight got retconned into a nothingburger. At the same time I’m kinda happy Boruto didn’t get it in retrospect. Having it would remove too his personality and decision making way too much. KK’s future sight is really dry to me and I can’t wait for him to kick the bucket.

It only works because Sarada can get magically powerful in an instant due to live like all Uchiha. Sumire's rant is for normal people.

literally me aura

It comes across as someone who doesn't know how the plot device eye works. Naruto's generation didn't no either so Boruto's generation doesn't know. There are barely any Uchiha's left unless you count the Shins with their discount Sharigan.

Most important panel of the chapter.

Damn, we waited a month for it to end pretty much where it started.

I'd rather read the Yashahime manga which is actually good and the art isn't shit

Kawaki is getting with Eida though.

Oh yeah that relationship is actually abusive with him threatening her.

God I hate ikemoto

Somehow Ikeomoto hasn't figured out that he needs to pace the manga differently on a monthly schedule. The panelwork and pacing feels more appropriate for a weekly manga.

Breaking habits is hard when you are old.

This abortion makes GT and Super look like masterpieces.

Color pages look more and more like a delinquent manga.

I was re watching the OG anime the other day, and I still liked it, despite its glaring flaws.
Inu and Kagome were such a good couple (though kagome did a lot of heavy lifting), I wish more mangas had strong romances like that.

Is yashahime actually good? I didn't hear good things about it.

Ikemoto seems to be inspired by high fashion, kinda like jojo, which I hear he's a fan of.

hautecouture.jpg - 736x1104, 100.94K

They did another parallel between Jura and Jigen/Isshiki. When he said he has a bad habit of getting too excited when fighting someone strong, it's the same as when Jigen beat the shit out of Naruto and Sasuke and called it his bad habit because he expended too much chakra.

Makes thread without the intention of dumping the chapter or posting the link

Why make the thread in the first place you dumb motherfucker?

Eida is kind of a bitch and she’s technically powerful so I guess she’s better matched than Sumire. Sumire might be kind of a petty jelly simp but she’s still nicer and deserves better.

Kawaki really isn’t likable enough now to merit a love interest and I’m skeptical he can be improved enough to warrant one.

Who’s ready for yandere Sarada?

IMG_7566.jpg - 1638x2048, 294.79K

Is that omnipotence?

Don't pop a vein trying too hard, bro.

I would even say this is a better manga than One Piece. That's probably the truth you're afraid to hear.

I feel like Ikemoto is ready to go weekly but Jump is holding him back since Boruto is the only reason people buy the magazine now that DBS is on a indefinite haiatus

Ikemoto

Weekly

He'll never be competent enough for that schedule.

So wtf even is Sarada's Mangekyo ability? Multiple kamui portals?

Literally what makes you think that?

Kind of, but she can select what they attract. So she can choose herself, or her enemies, or their jutsu. It’s more versatile than the long-range Kamui.

Black holes. You literally saw Ryu's body bend. That shot was precisely there for dumb shits like you to stop calling them portals.

Once I started reading it I realized how tricky Q&As can be and how much of a trap they can be because you need to be really mindful of what you answer. I thought the Q&A was harmful in a sort of meta narrative level. You are correct that nothing interesting will be revealed meaning that what does get revealed is ultimately inconsequential and will not be expanded upon because it shows that the writer doesn’t have the time or interest to show the answers in manga format. Himawari’s living situation disinterests Ikemoto, Daemon’s reaction to her feels like a nothingburger now too. It overall comes across like Ikemoto is careless.

The good questions/answers were the ones about the sibling’s character designs and Jura’s notebooks.

Seems like gravity control

I know people like to hate on this manga but i do like how much Boruto has grown. The artist has also improved a lot compared to the beginning, while his biggest problem is still the pacing.

Why does Naruto's son mog him?

Read the last chapter slowly.

Alright, this was soulfull as fuck.

He was fed on Hinata’s giant milk tanks. Naruto probably only had baby formula

Jura is mountain level at best.

the background

JOUGAN BROS WE’RE BACK!

IMG_7567.jpg - 1402x2048, 218.67K

We never left, it was shown on the last episode of TV Boruto.

Now, more than ever, I am convinced it is Jōver

Daemon vs Jura
who would win?

What makes me skeptical about KawaAda is that her plot-line is seemingly her realizing she's too good for Kawaki.
Like you straight up have the characters essentially telling her she deserves better, something completely unheard of in setting, which is funny because Kawaki was never as morally bad as Sasuke was in his edgy phase.
It could still be a red herring though so my doubt isn't 100%.

You fags really lost the plot, eh?
Also

Ikemoto once again using a stock background and overlaying a character on top of it.

There's still no answer for Daemon's abilities, Jura can be hit and injured so unless he has the immunity to Eida and Daemon like Otsutsuki do then Daemon would probably win by default.

Jura unironically tanked this

That was some grade A bullshit.

This should’ve never been a monthly manga

Dunno why I clicked
I don't wanna talk about Boruto and I did not read this chapter

Ikemoto's lazy.

he cancelled the rasengan effect
i think the way uzuhiko works is by rotating opponent mind/brain so it'll cause destruction sense of balance and diminishing motor skills

I can't believe this jobber would job to the most basic Boruto enemy.

Think of his poor wrists anon...

Boruto is my favorite male anime character.

Flying Raijin doesn't work on long distance, especially in clutch situations

What about that one time Minato used it across half the continent? To safe Guy from Madara's orbs in a split second?

0677-015.jpg - 2133x1600, 963.85K

What makes me skeptical about KawaAda is that her plot-line is seemingly her realizing she's too good for Kawaki

It’s not that, exactly. It’s that she’s finally contemplating giving up on him after 3 years of him giving zero fucks about her. There’s a zero percent chance of them getting together for the sole fact that she is an ayy. Sumire has a small chance because she’s the only character that hasn’t been disingenuous to him and he actually seems to give a tiny inkling of care about what she think of him. Not to mention Ikemoto frequently correlates them with each other. So it’s either Kawaki dies a fag or lives long enough to rape Sumire.

Boruto's jutsu is not Minato's Flying Raijin. We learned this several chapters ago, they don't work the same way. They just call it Flying Raijin because of what it looks like.

minato teleported using an object that he had already marked
boruto teleported using chakra that he detected either from an object or a person

Is nobody going to bite this? I was anticipating some good (you)s

They released a chart not too long ago comparing Boruto and Minato’s ftg. Boruto can only teleport to metallic objects and long distances take time.

Boruto FR is more like IT from Dragon Ball.
