Q: Urobuchi-san, you not only wrote the screenplay but also wrote the original concept and had a position to oversee the whole work as the executive supervisor. It really was a lot of work, wasn’t it?
Urobuchi: I probably won’t ever be involved in something to this extent ever again. At the beginning of this project, I wanted to change the whole business by creating a new market for glove puppetry. In a way, I had the ambition to exceed the role of a creator [of art or literature]. I managed to do that through this series, so I have a feeling of accomplishment as well. With the end of this series, I feel that I’m released from that thought.

truth be told i wont even bother watching it after having followed tbf for 5 years. the last season clearly had no plan or direction and even when funding was good it progressively lost scope and vision, and we didnt get subs for 4 months. it will be more of the same non-sequitor character deaths and loose ends

I thought it was odd he could do that but then it makes sense when it's revealed the sneaky bugger stole the Night of Mourning from Shou at some point after S2.
That manju was probably tasty...maybe Locust can go on to become a successful manju salesman!
The Demon King was a true hero in the end, saving humanity from the Enigmatic Gale...

I love TBF, it's a great story and relatively accessible introduction to the medium, unlike trying to get into mainline Pili which has 40 years worth of plotlines and dozens of characters, it's even more difficult than trying to jump into One Piece in media res.
