I don't understand his reason for saying "I want to create stories that move people's hearts." He's no different than any other agitated pig on the internet.
Commenting on Shinkai's upcoming talk with Yuji Sakamoto:
These guys seem to be quite movie-phobic. I guess they have never heard of Tetsuaki Matsue's Tokyo Drifter either.
Incidentally, when this film was screened at Shibuya Eurospace, Director Matsue invited me to be a guest speaker.
I guess I don't really know anything about "films" either. I guess you don't need to know anything about it if you're popular enough.
I'm really looking forward to this conversation. Because there is a possibility that he will show his "darkness."
