I don't give a shit if it makes sense logically or not. It just isn't fun to read. The whole point of Gantz is it's a tense story where a lot of people die and you never know who's going to be next. And they removed death from it. Well I might as well be watching a let's play on youtube then, there are no stakes, it's just some dudes getting some exercise
Hate to be that guy but they're not really resurrected, they're clones. It does try to deliver some uncomfortable narrative but doesn't appear to work as well to speed readers.
I enjoy it best when you have competent hunters who die needlessly because some half wit gets in their way.

I liked how the author would just forget stuff. Like he introduced the vampires and Kei's brother was one of them and then just completely forgot that plot point.

The vampire thing was a dead end concept he wanted to explore to explain Gantz.
He wanted to introduce the idea of nanomachines for something he had in mind to explain Gantz, but the idea of a large-scale alien invasion was better in his mind. He had interesting ideas to explain Gantz and at least he showed them, but the idea he finally chose “a gambling operation for the super rich” was good but he didn't even use it.
ON TOP OF THAT, he chose the Alien migration plan to perhaps pander to the alien theorizing audience. Which is clever, but not funny or creative.
The stakes against the players was what kept people interested and invested in the early issues. People is not going to remember this, but in its prime Gantz was so popular because of this, that the normal people was reading the manga and talking about it.
Hiroya Oku masterfully transmitted the idea early and fast and everyone was onboard about the idea that everyone could die no matter what, no matter who. No matter how shit the story evolved, no author to this date has been able to transmit the same perception of danger in a manga. The closest thing is Under Ninja.

I don't understand why resurrecting people of your choosing becomes a problem later on when it's an established feat. Seems like a proper thing to motivate someone to fight to the death.
I think that the core idea of Gantz was too crude and evil for some readers or for the author himself, (the author of Shigurui fall into depression because the story was too dark), that's why the "resurrect a loved one with one hundred points" option was introduced later as an alternative for players. Is more humane.
The first Gantz was super cold at first and then evolved into something more empathetic, that is why the Osaka arc feels so good, is literally a "return the form" without the negative connotation.
The only negative thing for me about the suit is that you supposedly unlock them “by parts” one arm one hundred points, one leg one hundred points. It doesn't make sense.
Hiroya Oku probably didn't have any more ideas for the arsenal, so he split the points between the suit and the giant robot.
Resurrection was based because it meant the mc got with and fucked both the main girls, he got farther than most harem manga even

Besides being a 10/10, she's shown to be an actually nice person multiple times. Going out of her way to help people. Once she knows Kurono has a girlfriend, she back off, helps him resurrect her then save her when she gets attacked by the vampires. She even gives up on him after he's freed from Gantz. So when she clones him, it was a desperate move to have what she wanted before the world literally ends. When the aliens attack, She's out there with k2 saving people while Kurono is trying to save Tae. There's nothing wrong with Tae, but should stop slandering. Then when K2 throws a fit she still saves his life despite being told that he hates her and would rather be with another woman instead in a life or death situation. I still don't understand why the room of truth gave her a bittersweet ending in one chapter, only to cuck her by making her reincarnation of Kurono's future mom. I'm still mad about it to this day.
