I'm by no means a drinker, I do it once a year when I mix shit for new year and after that. Generally speaking alc is just not interesting to me, and general beer is just that but (often) on the cheap. Mix drinks meanwhile are a whole different story, since I can decide on what type I wanna mix with what. For example I can do really basic baby shit, like punch up my choccy drink. It's better than you might think, there is a classic drink like that too if I remember right.

Mixing stuff makes this far easier for me, let's me "filter it out" if you will, making it suddenly taste so goddamn good for me. Honestly I only drink like once a week or so. My go to for years is a mix I make where I take a tall glass (about 20oz I'd guess), add 3 or 4 ice cubes, fill it about a third of the way with smirnoff (3 or 4 shots worth probably) and the rest with peach snapple.
Tastes good and gets a decent buzz. I'll usually make two of those with dinner or one with some whiskey later on if I have any.
